Short YouTube instruction describing three simple ways for beginners to start investing in real estate: (1) buy REITs via a brokerage account, (2) purchase a rental property (or buy a primary home that can later be rented; multi-unit recommended), and (3) invest passively in a sponsored deal where a sponsor manages the property and distributes profits/cash flow.
Now the first way and this is actually the easiest by far is to just simply take money in a brokerage account and buy shares of a reit. These are funds that own a bunch of real estate and they trade pretty much just like stocks. Now every one of these is going to be a little different but it's super easy to get started this way. The next one and the most obvious is to buy your first rental property. Now if you don't already own a property you can buy your first primary home which can eventually become your first rental. Pro tip if you can find a multi unit property that's a great start. Now the third option is to invest in a sponsored deal. This is another passive option but you're going to put your money into a deal where the sponsor is going to acquire the property, manage the property and then pay you out a certain amount of the profit and the cash flow each and every month and annually.
