Neel Dhingra's videos stayed small until he stopped filming at his desk and started taking positions people could argue with. He claims that picking a debatable angle and shooting in unexpected places like airplanes can double views or go viral.

Yo, Neel, why is my content not getting views? It's probably because it's generic. And there's two ways, like, you could be generic. It could be the topic and what you're saying is similar to what everybody else says. And the second thing, it might be the same old, same old way you're shooting it. So I just did something and I changed those two things, and the video is on its way to getting a million views. So let me break this down. The first thing was you need to talk about something that someone could possibly disagree with. Doesn't mean it has to be controversial or political. It just means like Here's my thoughts on this, and it's okay if you disagree with me. So that's number one. Second thing is I changed up where I shot it. Instead of doing it in the— in my desk like I normally shoot my videos, we shot it on a plane, just like we're shooting this one right now. And so these two things, if you change them up, most likely you will double your views, and then in some cases you're going to go viral.
