Should Everyone Be Creating Content?

A creator argues that not everyone needs to start posting publicly right away. Build skills first through private practice or a public journal. The speaker spent 5-7 years creating with almost no audience before things took off.
What do you think about this? Like, this may be a little bit controversial, but, like, maybe not everybody should do content. I'm telling everybody, hey, get your name out there. Build a personal brand. But then there's some people who don't have any skills or thought leadership yet. So I'm not saying never do content, but what about getting your skills first?
I think about content creation as like, a muscle that you have to build over time, right? So I think everyone should be creating content. But maybe it's just for yourself in the beginning. Maybe it's almost like a diary of sorts, almost journaling. Maybe you publish it on Twitter or somewhere else, but it's really more for you to see, kind of how you've grown and learned, right? Maybe for you to document the journey. So I think everyone probably should create content because it does take a lot of time. People just started finding me over the past 12 to 18 months, but I've been creating content for five, six, seven years, right? My content back then sucked, and literally the only person that read it was my mom, right? And she didn't even know what I said, so it didn't even matter, right? So I think everyone should practice and flex that muscle of just being prepared to write content.
