Alex Hormozi on business strategy: find the single biggest problem holding you back and spend months or years solving just that. He calls it the kill shot, the one thing that makes everything else irrelevant.
Having absolute clarity on the one thing that's holding my business back means that every waking hour I have is dedicated to solving that problem. And sometimes that solving that problem might take a year and a half. Sometimes it can take a month. If I want to write a book because I think that's it would be important for my brand, that's not like, okay, I'm going to write a book this week. It's like, no, but it's got to be a good book. It takes more time. But if I do this thing, it will make the other goals that I have shrink into irrelevance or occur as a result naturally with less effort. So we spend a lot of time trying to find, like, what's the kill shot? Like, what's the one big dominant. I think Tim Ferriss calls it of like, if I just knock this one thing over, everything else becomes irrelevant. If you were to build the largest real estate mortgage personal brand in the space, would that make all of the other goals you have kind of happen anyways?
