Neel Dhingra explains why most creators fail at sales: they pitch to audiences not ready to buy. About 80% of people are in the 'not yet' category. Serving them with content first, not offers, drives both views and conversions.

No one wakes up wanting to give you money. I had a personal brand, I had people that wanted to buy from me, but because I didn't know how to sell, I didn't have the patience to carry them through a process. Like you said, I made zero sales when I like made a full on course and like tried to launch it. And most people try to do this. Here's that thing I've been working on and it's like I didn't want it. If you look at a continuum, like a spectrum, there's this sliver of people who just, they're not interested in whatever it is that you offer. Then on the opposite side, there's a sliver of people who are ready to buy. These are the ready now people, but in the middle. And I would say this is 80% of the audience. It's this crowd I would call not yet. And this is the area that is most ignored. But that's where all the money is with content. Yeah. So everybody is, I would say, losing because they're just focused on this sliver. It's like 5% ready to transact. So we're all fighting over this like vultures. When I started serving that group, that's when all the views went up. Honestly, that's also where all my conversions went up and that's how I was able to do this.
