Short YouTube monologue (elevator-pitch style) in which the speaker—Neel Dhingra—argues that most people fail in mortgage/real estate because they lack a unique value proposition. He presents his 30-second pitch: he creates educational content to expand homeownership and customizes the mortgage process to save clients time and money, then prompts the viewer: 'What's yours?'.
This is why most people fail in the mortgage and real estate business, and that is that you don't have a unique value proposition. Let's just say you walk into an elevator, somebody says, what do you do? Most people will say, I'm a real estate agent. I'm a mortgage lender. That sounds like everybody else. I would say I'm a mortgage lender. But I'm different than 99% of the people in the industry because, number one, I create content to help people learn about this and expand homeownership. And also, number two, the industry takes a standardized approach to this process, and I go deeper and make it custom for each client number. There are many things that we can do to save our clients time and money, and I go deeper to uncover those opportunities and help my clients. So that's my unique value proposition in 30 seconds. What's yours.
