Hi, so it's Nick here again from Best Body Health Coaching. So in this video, I just want to talk to you a little bit about how our program works and what you can benefit from it and so on. So basically, our program has been going for about 10 years and it's grown over the years. It first started off with a with us coaching athletes because I come from a sporting background and so does my wife. And we started coaching athletes, helping them with their diet, helping them to last longer in their whatever sport they do. And it just— we had so many people approaching us asking us for advice on weight loss. So we decided, okay, let's start helping people get healthy and lose weight. And that's where things really started to change and we started to do a lot of research in it. And we found that there were certain things through a lot of research that we did, we studied a lot of books and did some courses and the rest of it and found that there's— it's the endocrine system which is failing when a person is putting on too much weight or when there's some kind of body issue. It's usually to do with high insulin levels and other hormones that are disrupting, that are causing all the problems in the body. So what our program essentially does is shift the person's body over from a high carbohydrate, high sugar diet and a sugar burning machine more to a ketogenic machine. Now a lot of people hear the word keto and they think of flashy Facebook ads and so on, and it's actually not that at all. There's keto and there's healthy keto, and then there's healthy keto on steroids. Steroids is probably the wrong word, but this is what our program is. So our program is like very, very strict keto. We get that body reset, we get the endocrine system reset, we get you in a position where you are really healthy, like after the 2 months, If you want to continue longer, then we can do a month-to-month thing after that, but we get that body back into a healthy enough condition where you can then continue with life and even continue with the program with a new food list that we give you. And obviously we don't go away as well, we stay around and help you through that. So basically how insulin works is it's got 2 major functions in the body. It has a few functions, but 2 major functions, and one of them is to remove glucose from the blood. So every time you eat anything, it raises glucose levels in the blood. It doesn't matter whether it's high fat or high sugar, it just— the food that you eat will obviously affect how high the glucose levels go and how long they stay high. So if you're eating low carbohydrate, a low carbohydrate diet, it will obviously stay low, but it will still raise when you eat something. So you can be eating something that's high in fat and it will still raise glucose. So we take the stuff that raises the glucose too much and keeps it raised, because when glucose is raised like that and kept up, insulin does the same thing to try and remove it from the blood. The other thing that insulin does is that it takes nutrients like glycogen, which is what the liver turns carbohydrates into to use as energy and fuel, and it places it inside the cell. So when you have very elevated levels of insulin all the time, you'll find that you do not— your cells then become a little bit resistant to it. So they've got like little landing pads, like little helicopter landing pads on the cell, and because the cell is an organism and it has a survival content of its own, you'll find that it then decides, hang on a sec, insulin is in too high a dosage, is very dangerous for me, so it shuts down to receiving insulin. So that little landing pad goes, nope, no insulin allowed to land on this landing pad, no insulin allowed in here, which means the nutrients don't go in either. So the person essentially starts putting on weight and starving at the same time. So when you bring insulin levels down, the cells then decide, okay, so that's fine, then we do need nutrients and we'd like to get those nutrients in. so they open themselves up to insulin again because it's not dangerous levels. Okay, so that's how the whole insulin thing works. So what we do on our diet is we make sure that those insulin levels stay low and they stay low for a long time, and then the body gets to heal itself. The other thing we do is we get the gut to repair itself by doing a bit of intermittent fasting. So instead of your gut digesting food all the time, which is actually not what it's designed to do alone. It is designed to digest food, but it's not only designed to do that, it's designed to create an immune system and to do all sorts of other things in the body. And if it's digesting food all the time, it doesn't get time to do these other things. So when you do intermittent fasting, it not only brings insulin levels down, but it also gives your immune system time to recover, your ability to absorb oxygen and to carry oxygen in the body and to store oxygen in the body, all that starts to recover. So basically that's what we do. So we take you through a whole process where we repair your insulin resistance, and I can tell you right now most of planet Earth is insulin resistant to some or other degree. If you're putting on weight, you have some kind of insulin resistance. Okay, so that being said, The other thing that we do on our program is we do an assessment to find out what part of your endocrine system, in other words your glandular system, your hormones basically in your body, are disrupted and out of sync. Your glands are basically little communicators, so the endocrine system is a communication system in the body and the little glands are like little fatty globules that make hormones, send them off into the bloodstream and are received by other hormones, and when they're received by those other hormones— those other glands at least, sorry, not the hormones— so they're received by the other glands and that gland carries out some kind of a command, sends a hormone back to the originator of the communication saying, you know, the command has been carried out and everything carries on hunky-dory. But what starts to happen is because of toxins in the environment different kinds of food, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, non-GMO type food, Roundup being a very, very big factor in this, and high insulin levels and all of this cause your glands to become disrupted because you've got to keep in mind that your glands are fatty globules and fat are magnets for toxins. So now they don't start working right, so the originator of the communication firstly either communicates too much or too little and sends like a bunch of hormones out. Let's take an example, like let's say with a female, there's a little gland in the brain which sends a hormone down to the ovaries and says release an egg, and the ovaries receive that hormone and they go okay and they release an egg, and then they send a hormone back to the originator of that communication cycle, And it says we've carried out that command and we release an egg. So that works perfectly fine, but what starts happening when the ovaries start becoming disrupted with all sorts of toxins in that? And that's when you start getting things like infertility. They don't receive the hormone from the originator, they can't receive it because it's blocked off in some way or some kind of aberration on it, and it doesn't release an egg or it releases too many eggs or not enough eggs or whatever it might be, or it tries to release an egg but it's a very painful process and it's a very eventful menstrual cycle for the female. And if it was doing its job properly and every gland was in good condition, it would be an eventless menstrual cycle. So that's an example of how the endocrine system works, and there's all sorts of different parts of the endocrine system. And the liver, which is actually an organ but can be considered as part of the endocrine system because it converts hormones, you know, that starts to get disrupted with all the toxins in the environment as well, and that stops converting hormones, and it can slow down the thyroid, it can do all sorts of things to the body. So you can see how this endocrine system has everything to do with health, and weight loss. So what we do is we do an assessment based on manifestations or indicators which show there is some kind of disruption in the endocrine system and what part of the endocrine system, and then we know what kind of natural supplement to give the person to support that part of the endocrine system and help it recover. And then obviously we take everything out of the diet which is disrupting it and we put everything into the diet which is going to heal it. So it's like kind of a no-brainer that you're going to recover and the body is going to start doing better, and as a result of that there's copious amounts of weight loss, health benefits, people have all sorts of issues that are recovered such as, you know, high blood pressure, cholesterol problems, menstrual problems, depression problems, sleep issues, you know, energy issues. It's just the wins on this program are endless. I mean, we have clients all over the world, we coach clients all over the world with all sorts of different scenarios and, you know, we help them to better health. So that's how our program works and You know, it's highly successful. We have 100% confidence in our program. We really don't have any doubt that our program works for anybody that actually does the program. So with that being said, I hope that you got something out of this video. I do feel that this program is for everybody on planet Earth. It's like, really is. Doesn't matter whether you think you're healthy or not, you need to know you know, how to eat properly, what the right foods are, what foods contain, how to read labels on shelf-type foods, what to look out for, and all these kinds of things. And that is all kind of an educational process that we help you with on this program. By the end of the 2 months, you will be pretty well educated so that you know, okay, I need to do this and I mustn't do that, This makes me fat, that makes me thin, my choice now. Okay, cool, so I hope that that helped, and, um, I'll see you in the next video!
