Program Farewell

Nick Howarth closes out a health program with reminders on nutrition basics and the risks of sliding back into old eating patterns. Insulin resistance and rapid weight regain happen fast when people abandon what they learned. He points to ongoing support through coaches and his videos to help you stay on track.

So you've come to the end of your VBHC journey. We really hope that you enjoyed your time with us and more importantly hope that you learned a lot about nutrition and food itself and how the body works and processes and metabolizes different kinds of foods like fats, proteins, and vegetables. So at the end of your journey, you should Keep in mind that you don't want to go back to your old habits that got you into the position that made you make the decision that you want to do the BBHC program in the first place. Keep that in mind. So if you had some kind of an issue before doing the BBHC program, which I'm assuming you did, don't go back to your old habits because that is just going to give you the same results, and we don't want that. We want you to Continue on with this lifestyle because this is quite plainly the way your body is meant to be fed. It's not meant to be eating all the wonderful, good-looking treats out there. It's meant to be eating real food that our ancestors ate and that these bodies are designed to process. If you're going to be eating things that this body cannot process, it will eventually take its toll on you at some point in the form of some chronic disease or worse. So the last thing I also want to tell you is that if you do go back to your old habits, you are now in a very, very healthy place where your cells are very insulin sensitive, which means whatever you're eating, whatever goes into your body will be driven into the cells at a massive rate. That means if you're eating sugar and processed carbohydrates all of the bad stuff, that is going to be driven into your cell at a much higher rate than it has ever been before. And if you think you had trouble before the program, you'll find that the complications that you had then would be magnified if you go back to your old habits now. The other thing is, is that if you go back to your old habits and put all the weight on again, it has nothing to do with the work ability or sustainability of this program. It has everything to do with the choices that you are going to make. You need to make the right choices. The other thing is, is that if you put all the weight back on that you've lost, if that's why you did the program and the weight that you've lost on the program is now gone, now you put it back on, you'll find that if you decide one day that you need to do the program again or do something similar, it'll be that much harder because there will be that much more damage done to the body because your cells are insulin sensitive and have now swung the other way to insulin resistance. So that is my little talk to try to keep you on board and stay healthy, because that, after all, is our purpose at UBHC, is to make healthy humans. So enjoy your journey forward. Your coach should have sent you some documents to help you continue the journey, and we'll never go away. We'll always be there. You can check out our videos on YouTube or on TikTok or on all the other social medias. And also, we're literally just a message away, and I know our coaches are always happy to help anybody who's done the program. Also, check out our books. We have some wonderful books which will help you stay on the straight and narrow and keep you educated. And, um, good luck for the way forward. Thank you very much for supporting our company. We really do love helping people.
