Four ways to stay motivated while organizing: play music to double your productivity, listen to audiobooks only during the task itself, invite a friend for feedback, or join online communities to share progress.
Are you having a hard time getting started with some of your projects? Whether you're organizing a space or you need to do some much needed decluttering, here are some things that motivate me that I love to put music on. I put a playlist on or listen to a station on Spotify or Apple Music and I listen and it motivates me and I generally will do twice as much work as then I planned on. The other thing is to listen to a book or a podcast. And the nice thing is if you make a rule that you can only listen to that book or podcast when you're decluttering or working on a project, you'll be more motivated to do those projects because you want to find out what happens next. The other thing is to invite a friend over and maybe they'll even help you with your decluttering. If you're doing something like going through clothes, they can give you some good feedback on what you should keep and maybe what you can let go of. And the last thing is join an online community. There's so many free communities that you can join that people who are doing similar projects you can share before and after pictures and get tips from others. Try one of those things to help get you motivated for your next project. Follow for more.
