How To Sell Your Clutter For QUICK CASH

Foreign. Hi there. I'm on my third activity for the week on trying to get rid of stuff and decluttering. And I love hearing from all of you so far on how you're motivated to start working on cupboards and drawers and bags and bins of your own. So this is good. So today is a little bit of a different thing. The last two days have been about going through a bin and just going through either pictures or just miscellaneous stuff that I just was holding on to but no longer need. I have whittled down so much, so I have two containers I can get rid of, and I do have a large bag of photos for digitizing later. But that's okay. Today is going to be a little bit different where I'm actually going to try to get rid of this giant box, which is a costume. Two costumes that we had and we used for my granddaughter's birthday party. And this was about four years ago. So the funny part of the story is that the p. These costumes actually, we put them on, and it was so hot to wear them, and it was a warm day. We went outside, and she was scared and she cried. It was so sad. So. But we meant well. So anyhow, I don't want these costumes. And this is the box, actually that it came in. It was just. I don't know, it had a long journey here. So I'm gonna open it up, make sure everything's okay, and then I'll show you how I'll actually go about getting rid of them. So let's open it up. And this. These scissors are actually a pair that I found in one of the bins. So that's kind of funny. All right, so you will soon. What this is. It's an Elmo costume. I'm sorry. It was the funniest thing. It gets. It gets a little bit squished. So it looks like they're still in great shape. It's a little squished, but it's an Elmo and Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster is kind of funny looking, I think. So this is all that's in the bag. So basically, it's a little squished, but if you push it back out, it's not as weird. But it has the body suit. It's really soft. They're really nice. They're in great condition. The head just needs to be reshaped. But so I have both of these, and I think I might try to sell them. Normally, I give a lot of things away, but I'm gonna try to sell them so the nice thing is I don't have to take them out, put them on or anything like that because I have pictures from the party that I'm going to be able to use for the ad. So what I'll do is I will start that and I'll share my screen with you so you can actually see it. But it doesn't take me too long. What I choose to do, you could sell on all sorts of sites, whatever works in your area. I like to start with my neighborhood app because it'll be somebody local that can hopefully put it to use. That means hopefully they'll come get it quickly. So and I'm not trying to make a bunch of money. I think we paid a hundred dollars for the pair so maybe I'll sell it for like $20 and see if somebody wants it or 25 maybe and go from there. So maybe I'll start with 25 and let's see if anybody it and if not I'll go down and worst case I will just end up donating it. So what I'll do is I will turn on my screen sharing so that I can show you what I'm doing. Okay, so I'm going to go to my app, which I have here, and I'm going to do a post and it's going to be sell or giveaway. And it says add photos. So I have a photo. Ah, there it is, there's my photo. And I'm going to say what is it? And I'm going to say Elmo and Cookie Monster costumes and describe your item. I'll just say adult size costume pair because I don't want to just sell one, I want to get rid of both of them. Great condition, mourn once. That's it. So I'm going to do that. So that gives them. Anybody who sees my ad will easily be able to tell select categories. So yeah, let's see. I don't know what this is. Appliances, automotive, baby kids, bicycles, clothing and accessories. I think looking at this. So I'm kind of torn between toys and games kind of thing. I don't know where Halloween would fall. Or we'll say clothing and accessories. Let's just give it a shot. And then I'm going to put price. I'm going to put $25 and then hit next. And what else should we know? I think they pretty much know everything. So let's go ahead and hit post. So we've got the dogs loaded up. The dog, the black and white dog had surgery last week so she's got a cone on. So we're gonna go do all that. But I'm glad I got my tasks done.
