Two ways to label leftovers so you know what's in your fridge and when you made it: dissolvable labels on containers that wash off clean, or a wine-glass marker that wipes away easily. Both cost almost nothing and stop mystery food from piling up.
Have you ever opened up your refrigerator and had some sort of mystery food in a container? You don't know what it is or how long it's been there. We used to have that problem until we tried two different hacks. One is I use this on my acrylic or plastic containers. They're dissolvable labels. They're super easy to use. You just put it on your container. You can write what it is. We usually just put the date and then when you're done with it, you wash it and it comes off. No sticky residue or anything. They're really great to have. The other option is, is that we will just write on it. I'll give you an example. Here's a wine glass marker and I'll just put the date, put it in the fridge and when you go to wash it, it just washes off. Super easy. Give one of those two items a try and it'll help eliminate the mystery food sitting in your fridge.
