This pantry was in need of a huge overhaul as you can see. One of my main goals was to get rid of these heavy wire bins and I wanted to make sure that I replaced them with clear bins that had labels. I wanted to remove anything that wasn't food related. So small appliances, foil baggies, all those things are going to get moved to another area and I wanted to make sure that basically everything that we use and have has a home in this pantry so the family knows where to put things, where to find things and that we're able to maintain them new layout and that it stays nice and organized going forward. Stay tuned to learn about the giveaway associated with this video. It's a good one. For the first step I pulled everything out of the pantry, laid it out on the counter on our kitchen table and then I began to sort it. I put like items together so I knew what I was dealing with. I looked at expiration dates, I got rid of things that hadn't been properly closed and anything that we no longer wanted. I did set aside anything that was extra. If we had, you know, three peanut butters, I set aside two of them so that they can be put in an overstock area and and that we just had the one that we are currently using. Once we finish that peanut butter, we'll grab one from the overstock and be able to bring that forward. So that's what I did on this initial sort.

I've been looking at the Pro Keepers Professional Baker set for quite a while and I finally decided to get it and I'm so glad that I did. I also got the cereal set because our shelves are a fixed height and a lot of the cereal containers won't fit on our shelves. So this worked out great.

I've seen mixed feedback online about the brown sugar container. With the stone that you wet you soak it for 15 minutes and then you put it inside the container and it's supposed to keep your brown sugar fresh and it doesn't dry out and get really hard and clumpy. So I'm going to give it a try and see if it works. Like I said, I've seen mixed reviews so have you tried this before? Comment below and let me know.

I got this can holder from Amazon and it works perfect. It fits nicely on the bottom shelf and it fits the the amount of cans that we have. So super pleased with that. And I used the bottom shelf for storing large items like our protein powders cuz some of those are pretty Big and also had a little area to keep our potatoes and any vegetables we want to store down there.

This pantry is kind of awkward. It has little areas that you have to reach around to, and it's generally. It's not really as large as maybe it looks. So I tried to take advantage of all the space that I could. So I got these really large carousels, and we use that for all of our supplements and any or other items that. That we want to be. Be able to have easy access to. And the carousels worked perfect for this.

I am by no means a cricut expert, but I did want to highlight that Sometimes I find that the. The letters don't cut exactly the way that I want, and it gets a little frustrating. So one hack that I have is I'll end up cutting out the letter that didn't cut correctly. Like the. The pieces that are supposed to weed out didn't work. And then I'll just print one letter and I just stick it on there. And you'd never would even know if you hadn't seen me do.

I want to make sure that our pantry kind of grows with us. So what I did was I stuck three extra containers for any snacks or anything else the family wants to store. I have them already there and a place for them so we can kind of grow into it. I don't want this solution to kind of fall apart because I didn't think of how we would expand or add in something we currently didn't have right now. So hopefully this works. My daughter's 15, and when I asked her if there's anything she wanted in this pantry, she asked for a chocolate shelf. So I didn't give her a chocolate shelf, but I gave her a drawer. I hope this video has inspired you to tackle your pantry or part of your pantry that you've been wanting to work on. This has been extremely rewarding. Yes, it's been a lot of work, but very rewarding, and I'm so happy with the result. Thanks for joining me here on my channel. Subscribe, and I'll see you next time. Bye.
