Short conversational transcript from a farming-oriented video encouraging people to ask questions at events. Speakers describe attending a field day, feeling out of depth because of industry acronyms, and learning that peers often don’t know either — emphasizing the value of asking neighbouring attendees for clarification.

I think there's such a benefit of being able to.
Ask questions.
And so I went to my first field day when I got home, and.
I was so out.
Of my depth.
And they.
Were using all of these acronyms. And I felt like I. I shouldn't be in that. Shouldn't sit in that room at all.
And they said.
Something up on stage. And I asked a guy who is.
A very well known, very.
Intelligent farmer. He was sitting to my right. And I asked him what that meant. He shrugged and said he had no idea. Ask the guy to my left. And so I did that. And I realized that none of us know.
And that.
You have to feel comfortable asking the question, because at least I feel I can, because I'm newer into the game.
But no.
One else knows the answer either.
