A New Thing | Oluseun & Oluwatobi

In this live YouTube session, Pastor Oluseun Arowolaju (host) and Pastor Tobi (guest) explore the biblical promise of "a new thing" from Isaiah 43:19, urging listeners—especially young adults—to discard past patterns, align with God’s current work, and expect three specific divine actions this season: strengthening, helping, and upholding. They unpack the text, linking it to verses in Isaiah 41, Revelation 21:5, and Psalm 102, and illustrate the promise with wilderness and desert metaphors, emphasizing that God will make ways in difficult places. Throughout the hour‑long dialogue, they intersperse exhortations, personal testimonies, and corporate prayer, encouraging the audience to declare and receive these new blessings now. The conversation stresses that spiritual neutrality is unacceptable, calls for active participation in prayer and community, and invites ongoing engagement through chat and follow‑up questions.

Wow, welcome everybody, everybody that has come from YouTube, everybody that's coming from Facebook, friends, family all over the world that we are excited here to talk about a new thing. So I'm here with a man of God. He's, I believe, to be my twin. I believe to be my twin in many ways. So we're going to have a good discussion. We're going to read the word. We're going to pray. So Pastor Tobi, do you mind introducing yourself briefly?
Well, okay, thank you. My name is Oluseun Arowolaju, okay, and I'm in Nigeria, Ondo State, Nigeria. Currently I'm the pastor at the Governmental Chapel, Ondo State, in Nigeria. So like you said, uh, maybe you are my twin brother, and here we are trusting God for what he's gonna do tonight.
Amen. And for those of you that don't know me, my name is Pastor Oluseun Arowolaju. I am a pastor at Bible Church of Reconciliation. I operate a young adults ministry called RCLN, and I'm just on fire and passionate about young people hearing the word of God. And, you know, upon our meeting in Accra about a month ago, we realized that there was a call upon our lives for a generation. There's a burden that we've carried, and we trust that there's a bridge being built between Ondo State in Illinois, Akure in Chicago, and we want to share a perspective of what a new thing is. How do you understand it? How do you perceive it? How do you grasp it? So I'm going to read from our text here in the book of Isaiah 43, and I'm going to butcher this on some points, and then I'm going to open it up for Pastor Toby to share his wisdom as he's been meditating on this text also for a while. So the Bible in Isaiah chapter 43, verse 19, the Bible says, behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Wow. I can't read that without just first understanding how God is revealing himself in this way that The moment that He speaks something, regardless of how impossible it may look in your life, regardless of whether you're in the desert or whether you are in the wilderness of life, when God says that He's going to do something, He's going to do it in that very place where you find yourself. So the encouraging thing that I have for our generation, for those that are listening, is don't let your surroundings dull your eyes from seeing what God is doing. A lot of times we get so stuck in how our environment looks and what our salary is and how the outlook on life is being perceived that we can't see that even in the midst of those things that God is doing something very fresh and very different. And there's a possibility that the prophet Isaiah made known to us in this revelation that it is possible to not know it. And I know many people are questioning what God is doing and they're missing out on what he is doing. So, um, Pastor Toby, how in your life, in your journey, have you been able to perceive, uh, what God is doing, even if it didn't look like anything was happening at that particular season?
This opportunity once again. Um, you see, this thing is not what we can finish up in just a meeting because Adeyeye is just a man. Adeyeye is a man that said I will do a new thing. It's possible to comprehend what it means at just a discussion. Within a discussion, you can easily comprehend what the man means. But why would he say, 'I will do a new thing'? But this is coming from God, not from a prophet, not from an apostle, but from God himself.
Yeah.
And when God says, 'I will do a new thing,' it cuts across every area. And I want to say this first. There is something I put down here while I was preparing for this. And I receive it. I know it's the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Number 1, we must— I believe we must discover, accept, and align ourselves with the doings of God if we are going to become what he wants us to be. Now, there is a relationship and a correlation between what God is doing and what we are becoming. All right, so it's important that when God says, 'I will do a new thing,' he's not just saying it for saying's sake. He means every word of it. Now, that means he has something in mind. He had a plan, a purpose in mind, and that made him to make that declaration that I will do a new thing. So whatever God have in mind to do is important we know that our becoming in life is in alignment with his doing part-time and part-season. Now the Bible made us understand that to everything there is time, there is seasons, now, and there is purpose for everything under the sun. So right, so in every time and season, God always have a purpose, God always have something in mind to fulfill. So in his doing is our alignment with his doing will determine our becoming. So it's important as believer, as young people, if you have a vision, if you know you have a call of God upon your life, if you know you have a burden for Christ and all those things, you need to first find out what is God doing. Yeah, many times we know that God is doing something with our life, but we can't really fine-tune what he's doing at the moment. Yeah, there are many times we explain some encounters we have, some personal revelations and all that, but we just know deeply within that God is doing something. Now the question is, what is he doing? And we realize that by the time we find out what God is doing, by the time we are able to lay our hands on what God is doing and align ourselves with it, There is a becoming that God is working out in us. It is God's doing that will determine our being. So I'm just trying to lay a foundation on that as we proceed tonight. Yeah, God is the one saying it here in that book of Isaiah, and he's saying it emphatically. Now let me refer back to the book of Isaiah. I'll still allow you to give a few comments before I proceed. Book of Isaiah 43. You know, we read verse 19.
Yeah.
Now, whenever we come across the word new in the Bible, it shows that there is something old somewhere. If there is nothing old, the word new would not— wouldn't come up in the first place. For new to come up shows that somehow there is an old system, there is something old somewhere. And you remember verse 18 of that same chapter. Isaiah chapter 43, verse 18, he said, remember not the former things, neither consider the things of the old. Yeah, no, now God himself giving us this instruction, and it's important that God gave us this instruction so that we will not be confused. Some people, they are lost in the former things of life. Some people are already lost in the former things of their destiny. Some people, where God is calling them, what God is calling them into, they are already lost into the former things. They are already lost into the former system, into the former way of life. But God needed to make a clarity here before he emphatically gave us his promise in verse 19. Verse 18, he said, remember not. To remember not means to do away with, to delete it. Ensure that it's out of your system. Don't think about it anymore, because the more you do, you think about it, the more you dwell in it. So if we are dwelling in the former things, it won't help us to reach out to the new things that God wants to do. So as much as God have a lot to do, it's important that we do away with former things. I said, neither consider the old things. There are old things in every jurisdiction of life, in every system, in every, in every works of life we find ourselves. There are always old things, including in the church, in wherever you find yourself. Oh my God, in every community, in every state, there are old things, old systems, old ways. Yeah. Now, for God to be glorified, because God is not caged with time, is the beginning, is the end. He knows the end from the beginning. He knows the future even from the past. So he said we should do away with the former things because we are limited as men. If we are to dwell with the former things, we be able to journey with God to the future. Now it is important we establish that before we go deeply into a new thing that God is telling us. Now having said that, that we should do away with the old things, remember not the former thing, God himself is now committing himself. God has committed himself. He's not saying that I will send an angel to do a new thing for you. He's not saying I will send a prophet to do a new thing. This is God committing himself. That shows how serious that statement is. Don't forget, he said he honors his word even more than his name. His word will not go unfulfilled. Many times, there are a lot of words of God in our life, it seems it's not being fulfilled because we are not taking cognizance of it. We are not aligning ourselves with his doing. Now he said, I will do a new thing, and now it shall spring forth. So I want us to break this down, this same verse. We're going to break it down this evening, and the Lord will be helping us. There are a few other verses that we'll be looking into just to broadcast it. This is God saying, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth. Now let me explain that a little bit. The next sentence, and now it shall spring forth. God said he will do a new thing. Now he's now giving us clue of the time, of the season that those things will be manifested. Yeah, and he said now. Now means present continuous. Now means present continuous. Now is not a future thing, is a present continuous thing. Now if we look into our life critically, we may want— we may be wondering, God says he will do a new thing and you are expecting that that new thing may be in 10 years' time, is 20 years' time. Oh no, God is saying it now, it shall spring forth. That means If it is not springing forth somehow, that means something is wrong. If it's not springing forth now, that means something is wrong. And now I will have to refer to the first thing I said the other time, that we must discover, accept, and align with what God is doing for you to fully become what he wants you to be. Now, at the moment God said he will do something and it will spring forth now, that means that the manifestation of whatever God is doing must be must be springing forth now, must be seen now in your life, seen now in your business, in your home, in your calling, in your ministry, in your career. It's not just a future thing, because God lives both in the past, present, and in the future. He's God. So whatever he has in mind to do, it must be manifested now. So it is very important as believers that we insist in seeing his move in our life now. It's important that we insist that we want to see his manifestation in our life now, not in the future, but now. So in this, a new thing, there is call for a repositioning. We must reposition ourselves, we must prepare ourselves that we are ready to for that manifestation of the new thing he said to do now. So now it shall spring forth. Another word I want us to see there is the word shall. I usually teach this to our people, that whenever you are studying your scripture and you come across the word shall, S-H-A-L-L, is different from when you come across the word will, W-I-L-L. There are two different things. This is not about a will of a man. The word shall means that it's a compelling word. There is a power that will compel it to happen. You know why? Nothing can stop it because it's coming from God. There's a compelling power of God that cannot be stopped, that will make it to happen. I will do a new thing, God said, and now it shall spring forth. Now it shall spring forth. There is a power of God, power that will make it to spring forth. Yeah, and that power can be facilitated with our alignment with what he's doing. Is when we align with whatever God is doing, when we discover, when we accept and align ourselves with what God is doing, partake time. That's what we put— that is what we trigger the power that will make it to spring forth. You look at a lot of life, a lot of life of young people in every sphere of life, you wonder that, but this person pray, you expect to see a lot of manifestation of God's power, of God's move. It's not coming forth because there is no compelling force that is making it to come forth. Can you hear me? The light will still come up.
No, I hear you.
All right, so, uh, I will proceed. So now let me leave you to give a little comment before I proceed. I have other things to share with us here today.
Yeah, you know, and I, I've been in seasons in my life where I had no idea what God wanted me to do next. You know, there have been times in my life where it seems that you're like at an impasse. And you know, when I read this text, it's— when you read all of Isaiah 43 in this context, you realize that God is trying to exchange people from what has been binding them down for so long, right. So just like you said, to remember not the former things. If I want to push a car first, I must first take it out of park. Right. There are many people in life that are trying to move forward while they're still pressing the brake, and that can't be possible. It's just not possible. So a lot of times when I'm— when you, when you, when you're considering what God wants you to do, whether it's ministry or life, and you realize that God is trying to move you forward, he wants to move you forward, you've received prophecies, you've heard about it in a place of prayer, he wants to move you. If you're not moving forward, you must now begin to address those things that are holding you back. And a lot of times the things that are holding you back start starts with your mentality, right? If your mind is not prepared for what's ahead, you will always be thinking of the former things. So that's why in verse 18, like you remember, the first thing that God is telling us is to fix your mind, right? You're trying to move ahead and you're still thinking about the past. You imagine the Egyptians, they— if they kept thinking about their pain, if they kept thinking about their Goshen— Goshen was a beautiful place. For the Egyptians. It was a paradise amongst chaos. If they kept remembering the paradise of old, they would never went to the promise of the future. So a lot of times you gotta—
it's some—
so what is holding me back?
Is it me?
Is it my ideology? Is it my surroundings? Is it my friend group? So I want to encourage people, when there's a new season, like I'm Convince is a new season for us, for you, for our generation. We must remember all the things that God has delivered us from and make sure those things are still not attached to us as we are moving forward. So, um, yeah, I, I, I really trust that this is going to be a, a fruitful conversation. Hopefully it breaks some chains from people in this season.
Yeah, thank God, that's a wonderful one. Glory to God.
Hallelujah.
Amen. Yeah, there is another thing we, we should, we should know because it is fundamental that we do away with former things if we want to, uh, experience the new thing that God have in mind to do now. A lot of questions may be coming up that if God says he will do a new thing, then what are those things that he's going to do? What is he doing? What is he doing? There's a question that may be coming up that was, what does God have in mind to do? Tonight I'll be sharing with us 3 powerful things that God has in mind to do. 3 powerful things, yes, that is capable of changing every life that can change and transform any life.
Chat, make sure every time you get these 3 things in the chat, somebody write them down so we can document this. 3 things that God wants to do in this new season. Somebody make sure you document in the chat. All right, Pastor, let's hear it.
Yeah, okay, 3 powerful things that God have in mind to do. And before then, let me read the scripture. Let me take us to the book of Revelation, chapter 21, verse 5. I just want to show us Revelation 21, verse 5.
Yes, sir, we are there.
Okay. And he that sat upon the throne said, behold, I will make all things new. That's where I'm going. I will stop there. I will make all things new. Now, the new thing that God wants to do It cuts across everything. All means everything inclusive. Yeah, when God is saying that he will do a new thing, it's not just a singular thing. It means a new thing that will reflect in every area. I will make all things new. This is God saying it again. I will make all things new, meaning that he's ready to make all things new in every area. In every area. So like I said, this is the doing of God. I will do a new thing. I will do a new thing. The word do means that to make, to be, to make something. God is committing himself. He's not even giving it out to any angel. He said, I will do it myself. I will do a new thing. And as a matter of fact, if there is anything a lot of people are trusting God for, it's actually a new thing. Oh, someone who maybe you've got a job already, you are trusting God for promotion. Promotion is a new thing. Yeah, you are trusting God for a new thing in life. You are trusting God for a new thing in ministry, a new dimension of God. Now I want to say this again: it is the doing of God that determines the being of man. Please, I want it to sink. I want it to sink. Don't forget that, that it is the doing of God that will determine the being of a man. Being of a man, whatever you want to become, it is the doing of God that will determine the being of a man. No matter who, whatever a man become in life, it is the doing of God that determines it. The level of— the level that a man can ever attain in life will be determined by the doing of God Almighty. So everything is still within the hands of God Almighty. If he's saying I will do a new thing, I want you to make it so personal. For those that are following us, make it personal to you. Make it a personal thing that, Lord, whatsoever you are doing must be seen in my life, must spring forth in my life. Don't forget, he said now it shall spring forth. The time, you are the one that will determine the time that you want those manifestations of God's doing to spring forth in your life. Don't forget, I think the book of Psalm 102:13, he said, thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion, for the time to favor him, yet the set time has come. So we as the children of God, we must insist that, Lord, now is when I want those new things you are doing in my life to spring forth. Oh, you have been trusting God for years, you have been praying, fasting, you have been hearing prophecies that are yet to be manifested. I tell you that You can insist that you want those prophecies to start being manifested in your life now. You want the manifestation of those prophecies in your life now. Lord, whatsoever you are doing, let it begin to spring forth in my life now. Can we take one minute to just tell this to God before we proceed? Lord, whatever you are doing in my life, let it begin to spring forth now, now, now, now, now. Not tomorrow, not in the future, but now, now.
It now.
It shall spring forth now. It shall spring forth now. Whatever new thing you have to do in my life, let it begin to spring forth now. Let it begin to spring forth now. Let it begin to—
now I see it now. I see it now. Every single thing that you are doing, everything that you're making mention of, all the things that you are revealing, I see it now. I see it now, the new things that you are causing to spring forth, the old things that you are allowing me to forget. I'm receiving it now in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, I say thank you for the doings that will make me become everything that you want me to be, the doings that will make me to become everything that you want me to be. I receive it now, I receive it now in the mighty name of Jesus. Jesus. Amen, amen, and amen.
Pastor Tobi, Jesus Christ's name.
Amen, amen, amen.
So it's very fundamental that whatever God has in mind to do, the Lord said that now it shall spring forth. Now the question is, if God said now it shall spring forth, then why is it not springing forth in our life now? Why does it seem been delayed? Why is the manifestation not showing up now? But God said it will spring forth now. Then why is it not springing forth now? Look at the next sentence. He said, shall ye not know it? It's a question. My God, the reason why you, you seem not to be sure of those new things that God is doing It's either it's not springing forth yet, or you have not come into the awareness.
Yeah, it's kind of like if somebody— it's kind of like if somebody bought you a new vehicle and it exists.
Yeah.
And they place it in the garage, and you—
all you have to do is walk in there, see it, receive it. Yeah.
But you absolutely refuse to go into your garage. Can you imagine?
Oh yes, shall ye not know it? This is God Almighty saying, I will do a new thing, and he's giving us the time that it will spring forth now. If it's springing forth now, shall ye not know it? How come it's not showing forth? The Lord said he will bless you and it is not reflecting in your life. Shall ye not know it? Two things: it's either we are unaware We are not coming to the awareness of that reality. So now at times I've met a lot of Christians, they think scripture is just an abstract thing that is not real. The scripture is real, especially words from God are real, is bankable. Shall ye not know it? It's either you are not yet aware that God is doing a new thing now or you have not— it has not started springing forth in your life. And the truth is, if it has not started springing forth, then it's not God at fault. Yes, if you think that whatever God— whatever new thing that God is doing is not springing forth in your life yet, then it is not God at fault. It is your fault. I will explain why it is your fault. See, God is a perfect God. He has settled everything and he's only telling us the reason why he's not springing forth in your life yet is your fault, because somehow you have not got out of the former things. You are still being held down around the old things. Don't forget, in verse 18 he said you should remember not the former things. Once you can't let go of the former things, of the former system, of the former psychological thinking and all that, it will be difficult for you to see that new thing that God is doing. It will seem it's not bringing forth because you are still holding back to the former things and the things of the old. There are a lot of things that we need to do away with. And it is very important if we are going to see the move of God in our life, in our generation. So, shall ye not know it? Shall ye not know it? If it's springing forth, it will become so obvious that you don't need to explain it. Even people around you, you begin to see the mighty move, and they will begin to see the hands of God in your life. It will be so obvious. Oh, I don't want to proceed yet, but let me quickly read this. He said, I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Now let me tell you something about wilderness. There is something— there was a time I I preached a message called Experiencing God. So the subtopic of that message is Wilderness Experience. The word wilderness is not a pleasant place. For those maybe in Africa that have been to wilderness before, or that know where it's called wilderness, it's not just a local place, but it's a very— it's a place of inconveniency. Yeah, wilderness experience. Some people, they are still in their wilderness experience, maybe ministerially, maritally, financially, or any area of life. Now the Lord is saying this, that I will even, I will even make way in the wilderness. That is an addition to the new thing he will do. That is a proof that he is doing a new thing. The way in the wilderness is not just the only thing he wants to do. It is an addition to the new thing he's going to do. Don't forget, it is the doing of God that will be determining the being of a man. Whatever you become is subjected to what God is doing in your life and how you are able to align with it, how you are able to accept and discover it and run with it. You know, that is what—
I don't want to cut you off, but I was just— I was— I just made a post earlier today that The moment that you understand this, you realize that nothing anybody says counter to that matters. There are so many people that are just succumbed to the opinions of men. Men are telling you, you will not make it. Men will tell you, you won't be this. Men will tell you, you will never receive this. If God has not said it, it has no business being made manifest in your life. So, like, us understanding this is incredibly important for us to know. That when God says something, it nullifies anything, anyone that can say counter to it.
Are you there?
Yes, sir, I'm still here.
Okay, as I was saying, this is God's— we are still in that verse, uh, 19. I will even make a way in the wilderness. See, this is God committing himself that aside the new thing that I'm going to do that you'll be seeing manifesting now, I will also make a way in the wilderness. See, this is— and God is trying to re-emphasize, re-emphasize what he's going to do, that beyond, beyond doing just a new thing in other areas of your life, in case if you are still in the wilderness of life in any area, that I'm going to to make a way. Now, wilderness is a state of confusion, is a state of struggling. A lot of people, they have been in wilderness of life for many years, though they are born again, though they are regenerated, yet they are in the wilderness of life. They are in the wilderness of destiny. What you just need, what everyone needs out of wilderness, is a way out. Anyone who have been in the wilderness before or who is currently in the wilderness, what you need is a way out. And that is part of what God is committing himself to do this season, that I will even make a way in the wilderness. And once there is a way in the wilderness, then you are out. You can easily get out of the wilderness and go to the palace of destiny. A lot of things can put someone in the wilderness anyway. There are many things that can actually put someone in the wilderness. One of them is ignorance. So anything can facilitate, can lead someone to the wilderness. And even God himself, in a season of life, can even lead a man to the wilderness, maybe to train, maybe for you to learn some things. But he's saying that I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. A place called desert is a place where there is, there is lack of fruitfulness. Nothing grows in the desert. Yeah, some people— oh my God. Yeah, I usually say this, let me quickly ship it in. There are two kinds of souls. There are two kinds of souls. We have breathing souls and we have living souls. Some people are only breathing, they are not living. So any life that is experiencing desert is only breathing, is not living. Yeah, but once there is river in the desert, the desert will be— with over time, this desert will be converted to a forest. A desert that experienced river, over time the desert will turn to forest. That means new things will begin to come out from it, from that life. So it is important. This is God giving us assurance that I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Now, how will God make all this happen? I want to share with us 3 major things, 3 powerful things from the scripture that God himself have assured us that he will do, that God himself assured us that he will do. It's still the book of Isaiah. In the book of Isaiah chapter 41, Isaiah chapter 41. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Isaiah chapter 41. What are the new things that God wants to do? What are the new things that God is doing? What are the new things that God is ready to do for you and I in this season? What are the new things? Now it is important that we know those new things We accept them and we align with them. So the book of Isaiah 41, I'll read verse 10. I'll read verse 10. 3 powerful things that God has promised to do for you and I this season, and those 3 things can determine the next phase of your life, can determine the next phase of your destiny. If you see anyone that is doing well in life, those 3 things have been achieved. Those 3 things is being manifested. When you begin to experience those 3 powerful things, you will realize that life will become much easier for you. Destiny will become much easier for you to fulfill. Now I read from verse 10. Can you see what God started with? Fear thou not. Fear thou not. You know why? Let me link it with the book of Isaiah 43:19. He said he will do— he will make way in the wilderness. Anyone in the wilderness of life have tendency to fear. Wilderness is a scary place, is a place of confusion. Yeah, it's a place at times that you may begin to doubt the— to doubt the faithfulness of God because wilderness Say, fear thou not, for I am with thee. Even in the wilderness there, God is still saying that he is with you. Yeah, yeah, he's still emphasizing that he's with you. That is why he has— he made that assurance that he will even make a way in the wilderness. And he said, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. You should not be confused because you have him as your God. Now, 3 powerful things are mentioned in this same verse, and I will take it one after the other. I will do a new thing in this life, in this generation. It is the desire of God to do a new thing that should start manifesting now, that will start manifesting in our generation. Oh, I told some fellows while I was ministering to them that About 3, 4 generations ago, there are things that God had in mind to do, but because those generations, they seems not to be fully ready yet, those things were carried over to our father's generations. And our father's generations, they tried their best, but they were not able to attain the fullness of what God have in mind to do. Now God is still counting on us in our generation. Are we going to fail him?
No.
We can't afford to fail before God. Now he said number one thing that God wants to do this season, he said, I will strengthen thee. Oh my God, this is God telling us that I will strengthen thee. I usually say this, and let me say it here again: the best of a man is still a man. No matter how sophisticated a man can be, There is a natural limitation by default that comes by being a man. By the physical strength of a man, there are little or limited things that man can achieve as far as God's kingdom, God's agenda is concerned. That is why we need strength. We live in a, in a very perverse generation, in a very compromised world that One can easily lose his strength. Oh, there are a lot of things that can usually actually cause a man to lose their strength. I'm talking of the strength of a man. So there are limitations with the strength of a man, and God knows this, that if his will that have been settled in heaven will be replicated on earth The strength of the man is limited for it. A time will come that man will feel— we may feel so tired, we may feel so helpless, we may feel so, so incapable of what God has in mind to do through us. So that is why God is saying that this new season, this time that he's going to do a new thing, but for that new thing to happen Number 1 is that it will strengthen us.
Amen.
Oh, we need the strength, we need the strength, we need the strength. See, the Bible talks about the glory of the youth is their strength. Okay, now the glory of the youth is their strength. That's what the Bible says. That same Bible also said even the youth shall weary, say they shall faint, and young men shall utterly fall. The Bible said the glory of the youth is their strength. The same Bible said even the youth shall faint and young men shall utterly fall. Why? Because there is a natural limitation that comes with the strength of a man. Even in the pursuit of doing the will of God, we have natural limitation. If God does not strengthen us, there are little or very little things that we can do and achieve. Even as regards to our destiny in life, we need strength. So it is very expedient. We are going to pray, we are going to treat this one after the other. If God does not strengthen us the same way our forefathers have been failing God, it's possible that even in this generation people will fail. But we will not fail in the name of Jesus. We refuse to fail. We will not fail. We will not fail.
In the name—
will not fail. We receive that supernatural strength, will not fail, will not fail. Number one thing that you want to do in this season is that it will strengthen us. It will strengthen us. Do you know why? The book of Acts chapter 10, verse 38, Jesus Christ, the Almighty Jesus, your Jesus, my Jesus, our Lord and Savior, The Bible said how God anointed Jesus Christ with Holy Ghost and with power, that he went about doing good, fire, healing those that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him. Now if God Almighty, if the Almighty Jesus that we call upon, while he was on earth as a man, as a God in man, while he was on earth, if he could need that supernatural strength of Holy Ghost and with power to do good, to do that which God have created him to do, to fulfill the purpose of God for his life. How much more you and I, bro? We need strength.
We need strength.
We need strength. There is a strength that goes beyond the strength of a man. There is a strength that goes beyond just the normal motivation and the zeal of a man. That is the strength of the Almighty. That strength is strength that will sustain us, is the strength that will lead us through even through the stormy seas of life. Oh my God, we need strength. We need strength. And the best way to take God is to take him by his word. The best way to deal with God is to deal with him by his word, with his word. God, you said this. Lord, I hold on to your word. Make it come to pass in my life. Make it— oh my God, make it a reality in my life.
In the name of Jesus.
If God said that he will do a new thing, one of those new things is that he wants to strengthen us. He wants to strengthen you. And you know what? I need to make a balance here. The strength that God is talking about here is not just for those that will be behind the pulpit alone. Oh, maybe someone is hearing me now. You may not even be a pastor at all. Maybe you are called into the tech world. Maybe you are called into the business world, academic world, or in the whatever business, whatever jurisdiction of life that you find yourself, God is still going to strengthen you for his glory, for his purpose, for his power. That even as a police officer, even as whatever you may be, you will still be experiencing the power and the glory and the strength of the Most High God. You will still be an extraordinary person that will be doing wonders for God, and people will be saying the glory of God upon you because you are strengthened of the Lord. You'll be able to do supernatural things. What is stopping others will not be able to stop you. Where people are failing, you will succeed. When people are saying there is casting down, because you are strengthened by the Most High God, you will say there is lifting up. I will strengthen thee. That's the word of God. That's one of those things that God wants to do in our generation. God wants to strengthen us. God wants to strengthen us. God is ready to strengthen us. For those of us that are ready for his move, also for those of us that are ready to carry his power, for those of us that are ready to manifest that which he has created us for, he's ready to strengthen us.
You know what, I'm led to pray because, um, you know, one of the things that our generation needs strength for is to resist the enemy. I've seen so much and how the enemy attacks the strength of men by coming with all sorts of temptations and all sorts of ungodliness. So in one minute, can we pray that the strength to resist, the strength to push away everything you think that is not the mindfulness of God?
To stand on that day. The Bible says that if you fall on the day of adversity, then your strength is little. My strength will be plentiful, so I can do all things through Jesus Christ, who gives me the strength, the strength to be a righteous man, the strength to be holy, the strength to mind the things of God, the strength to look towards him and away from every single thing that calls to pleasure. Father, deliver us strength in Jesus' name.
We have prayed.
Amen. We need strength. Amen. Yeah, thank you. I pray may we receive strength in every area of our life in the name of Jesus. Ah yeah, you know, one thing about strength is that it removes weakness. Oh, it removes weakness. When the strength of the Lord come upon you, when God strengthen you, then weakness will be removed. There are so many people in many areas of their life, they are experiencing weakness. Oh, have you heard the Bible that says the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak? Oh yeah, so many people, there is an inner drive deep within them that is calling them to God, but there is this weakness that is weighing them down. What you need is strength. Oh, like what we just pray about now— strength to resist the world, strength to resist the world. We live in a generation that even when you go come to the internet, when you just go to the social media, you see a lot of things that may seem to weaken your faith. Yeah, so many things. So if there is any time we need strength, we need it in our generation if we are going to fulfill God's purpose. God is counting on us, and if we are not going to fail before God, we need strength not to fail. We need strength. You know what? You know, even as husband, you need strength to be a godly husband, to be a father, a good father. You need strength. If— oh my God— in any areas you may find yourself in life, you need strength. If you remove strength, then everything will become weakness and everything will become meaningless. Yeah, devil can easily trample on any life that has no strength. Devil can easily manipulate any life that has no strength. So if there is anything we must be intentional about, part of the new thing that God wants to do, he said he will strengthen us. We are— we live in a generation that there is nothing we can do without strength of God. We need the strength of God. We need God to strengthen us as we sojourn through life and destiny, as we navigate through the stormy seas of life. We need strength, and that's what God says, that I will strengthen thee. Financial strength, marital strength, spiritual strength, ministerial strength, Social strength, strength in every areas of life, you need it. And I pray by the sovereign in the word of God, by the finished work of Christ, I pray that we receive strength in the name of Jesus. Our life receives strength. Your life receives strength. Your life receives strength. Your life receives strength. Your life receives strength in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
You know what? If your home is going to glorify God, you need strength in your home. In your marriage, if it's going to glorify God, you need strength. My God, anything you lay your hands upon, if God is going to be glorified there, you need strength. In this perverse world, you need strength, you need power. Even Jesus Christ needed power to do good in life. Yeah, so you and I, we need power to do good in life, to do good in destiny, to serve God. We strength. We need power. And I pray, as God baptized Jesus Christ of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and with power, may we receive strength from above in the name of Jesus. May we receive strength of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus. Strength upon our life, strength upon our home, strength upon our business, strength upon our ministry in the name of Jesus. Can you say, I receive strength? I receive strength.
I receive.
It's one thing to give strength, it's another thing to receive it. Oh yes, God is the giver, we are the receiver. We receive strength in the name of Jesus. We receive strength in the name of Jesus. Because of time, let me proceed. Let me proceed. Another thing that God— another powerful thing that God has said to do in this time and season Another new thing he wants to do aside strength, the second thing is that he said, I will help thee. Oh my God, I will help thee. I said it earlier that there is a natural limitation by default that comes with being a man. Every man by naturality, we have a natural limitation, but it is the help of God that will compel man to do exploits. If, as a matter of fact, you can't even do the work of God without the help of God, you need the work of God to do— you need the help of God to do the work of God. Yes, the assignment of God in your life, you still need the help of God to carry it out.
Yes.
So if God removes his help, then men, we are finished. It is the help of God that strengthens. It's the help of God that, that makes man relevant. Do you know the reason why the psalmist said that in the book of Psalm 121? I said, I will look up to the hills where my help come from. My help come from the Lord which made heaven and earth. See, if you remove help from the equation, man will be frustrated.
Yeah, you know, oh my God, that reason is why, you know, when Jesus was leaving his disciples, he told them, I'm going to give you a helper.
Yeah, Holy Spirit.
If Jesus leaving his disciples and told them, you're not going to miss my presence because I'm going to send my presence to you, and that presence will be a constant and continuous help for you, how can we imagine living life without that Oh God, no, no, no, oh yeah, the best of a man is still a man.
So no matter what you want to do in life, we need the help of God. That's why the Bible says in that book of Hebrews chapter 4, verse 16, Hebrews chapter 4, verse 16, he said, let us boldly come to the throne of grace that we might obtain mercy and grace to help in the time of need. And I realized that no matter how strong a man can be, no matter how sophisticated a man can be in life, there is always a time of need in every life.
Yeah.
Oh yes, there will always be a time of need. Do you know that even Jesus Christ experienced that time of need? I will mention it now. Jesus Christ experienced a season of need, but thank God for the grace to help. It was that grace that spoke for him, that he was not humiliated, he was not embarrassed. Do you remember when the Pharisees and those people, they came to collect tax from him and his disciples? They had no cash with them, they had no money with them. That was a time of need. But it was the grace for help that made— oh my God— that even a fish can become a bank, that they were able to get money from the mouth of a fish. That was a grace for help. It's uncommon. So God said, I will help thee. You know that there is a limitation that every man may encounter even while pursuing his purpose. If God does not help us in this generation, there are many ministers that will keep falling into sin over and over again. I realized something, that living a holy life is beyond a self-determination. Doing the will of God is beyond self-determination. There are many people with self-determination minus the will, minus the help of God, they keep falling into temptation over and over again. They keep falling into mess. They were not able to resist the devil. They are not able to resist the world. They keep falling into the mess over and over again. Oh, no wonder the Bible said, by strength shall no man prevail. So we need the help of God. Concerning that thing that God have called you for, concerning that ministry, concerning the work of God in your life, you need the help of God. You need the help of God. If there is anything we need is the help of God. And I will say this, that it is the help from God that activates the help from men. I say that again, it is the help from God that activates the help from men. Until you find help from above, you can't find help from around. It is the help from God that activates the help from around. It is the help from above that activates the help from around. That is why the psalmist was wise enough and he said, I will look up to the hills 'From where's my help come from?' He knows that help come from the Lord. It is the help from the Lord that determines if you will find help from around, from men. So many people, they are frustrated because they are looking up to men for help instead of God. And this is God saying, 'I will help thee.' It's part of the new thing that he want to do in our life this season, and it will spring forth now that every one of us that is following this now, you begin to experience the help from God in your life. Help from God will activate help from men in your life, that in every area of your life you begin to find help.
Amen.
Oh, let me tell us something about help, brother. Can you hear me?
Yes, sir.
I want to share something about help. You see, higher help is a technology that was invented, invented by God himself. God knows that the best of a man is still a man. There are limitations that come with being a man, and God has great plans. He has great purpose to achieve even on earth, and he knows that for your life, for my life, if we are going to fulfill God's purpose, the best of our ability cannot, cannot make us to achieve that. So the technology that God make, that God provided to aid us to be able to fulfill his purpose even on earth, even in our life, is called help. So at, at every point in life, I was studying the book of Acts, even the New Testament, Apostle Paul, he encountered a lot of help in his ministry. Oh, we were celebrating the Apostle Paul. He did a lot. He wrote about, uh, uh, more almost half or thereabout of the, of the New Testament. It was because Apostle Paul encountered a lot of help. There are a lot of people that God used to help him. So is the ministry of help is a very powerful and sensitive aspect that we cannot do away with. We cannot trivialize it. If we are going to fulfill the purpose of God for our life, the technology we need that will make it easy for us is called the technology of help. It's called help.
You know why? Um, and I know we're rounding up here, but this is, this is one of the things that holds so many people back from praying. For you to pray, you have to literally say, I'm a helpless man. Anybody that does not think they need help will never pray. But when you get to see how helpless you are, especially when God is calling you to do things that are impossible for men to do, you know, you see, sometimes I bless God for the call that he calls some people because that very call would just push you into the prayer closet. I don't know what you're asking me to do, but unless you do it through me, it would never be So I definitely want to encourage people that prayer life— a prayerless person is a helpless person. So please, let's—
oh yes, oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. So still talking about help, it's one of the major parts of our life. If we don't— anybody that doesn't find that will be stranded in life, will be stranded in destiny. Thing. Yeah, may we not be stranded in the name of Jesus. We will not be stranded. We will not be stranded in the name of Jesus. So help is a very important factor of what God is doing. God said I will do a new thing. Part of those things he will do is that he will help you. Oh, there are prophecies that are hanging over you. There are a lot of prophecies. There are lots of messages that you receive and all that. There are a lot of burdens that you carry. For those burdens to be lifted, for those prophecies to be manifested, you need help. We need help. We need help. Oh my God. And you know what? The good thing is that God is mercy. No one ever called unto him for help sincerely that he will reject. He never ignore anyone that sincerely call unto God. 'Lord, help me. God, help me.' If it's coming from a sincere heart, God will not ignore it. God will not ignore that kind of a prayer. So it is important. Part of what God wants to do in your life, in my life, is that he wants to help. He wants to help. That is what will make the journey of destiny much easier and faster. Much easier and faster. We need help. Personally, I know I need help every day of my life. I do tell you to God, Lord, help me, help me. If there is a prayer that we must not stop praying, is a prayer of help. Is a prayer of help. Fire is a prayer of help because every day you will encounter so many things. Oh God, I've heard stories of pastors that's, that's backslidden, and they just venture into something else and just walk away and do something else, is because they are frustrated. They need help. So in everyone, anything we do, we should must have it in mind that God is willing to help us. It's part of the new thing he's willing to do. As a matter of fact, for him to say he will make way in the wilderness is also a way of helping us out of the wilderness. So once you— if you find yourself in the wilderness of life, in every jurisdiction of life, when God said he will make way even in the wilderness, that means he's trying to help you out of the wilderness. He said he will make rivers available in the desert. That means he's trying to turn your desert into forest. He's trying to turn your desert into a fertile land. He's trying to take you out, help you out of the desert. I pray may we find help in the name of Jesus. Can we pray to God in one minute? In the name of Jesus, Lord, help me. Lord, help me. Lord, help me. In the name of Jesus, as many of us that are trusting God for help, that we have acknowledged that we can't help ourselves, Jesus, we say you should help us.
Help us, oh God.
Help us, oh God. Help us, oh God!
Help us to go! Help us to go!
I have help from heaven today. Lord, empower me and cause me to grow in the name of Jesus. Help, oh God! I need help! I need help in my life! I need help Shall spring forth. Jesus, help me, help me, oh God, help me, oh God, help me, oh God, in ministry. Help, oh God, help, oh God, in ministry. Lord, help in Jesus Christ's name we pray.
Amen, amen.
Oh my God, this topic about help, it's, it's very, very important and powerful that we must not start praying it. We must not stop praying the prayer of help. We must not stop praying the prayer of— we must not stop praying it. May God help us in the name of Jesus. He said, I will help thee. It's emphatically that I will help thee. And once we experience the help of God in our life, we realize that so many areas of our destiny will become much easier. Destiny will be easier to fulfill. Prophecies that are hanging will become manifested because you'll find help. Because you'll find help. So we must also have this in mind. This is God telling us he will help us. That means every help we may ever find, we may ever need, is from God. He is the source of all help. Man can be the channel, but God is the source.
Is the source.
So we must not ignore the source and focus on the channel that God will use. And it's my prayer that any channel that God will use to help us, may we not miss it in the name of Jesus. Amen. May we not miss help in the name of Jesus. For those of us that need help, I pray receive help in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
He said we come to the throne of grace that we might obtain mercy and grace to help in the time of need. There will always be time of need in destiny. There will always be time of need in life. But what will make you and I not to be stranded is the help that we receive from God. And I pray may we always receive help in the name of Jesus. Because of time, I know we've spent over an hour already. Let me mention the third thing that God is doing. Don't forget, he said, I will do a new thing and it shall spring forth. Now it shall spring forth. Number one, he said he will strengthen you and I, and that strength will begin to manifest now in the name of Jesus. Secondly, he said that he will help us, he will help you and I, and that help may begin to manifest now in the name of Jesus. The third one, the third powerful thing that he said he would do, he said he will uphold thee. Uphold thee. It's one thing to be strengthened, it's another thing to find help. And the last one, he said he will uphold us with the right hand of his righteousness. That means that he will be able to maintain our relationship with him, will not fall, will not Amen. These are part of what the new thing that God is doing and is set to do in our life, in our generation. For those of us that are willing, for those of us that are making ourselves available for this, he will strengthen us, he will help us, and he will uphold us with his right hand of his righteousness. The right hand of his righteousness. When God uphold a man, no devil can pull you down.
No way.
When God is upholding you— to uphold means that he's lifting you up and ensuring that you remain up. So when God is one upholding you, no devil can pull you down. We cannot fall, we cannot fail. We live in a very compromising world and perverse generation, but God, when God is upholding us We cannot fall, we cannot fail. I pray may God uphold you, may God uphold every one of us in the name of Jesus. No matter wherever you are connecting from, part of the new thing that God is said to do is that he will uphold you. He will uphold you and I, maybe in that business, in that career, in that ministry, in every area of your life. God will uphold you. You will not fall, you will not fail. You will not fall, you will not fail. You will not fall, you will not fail, in the name of Jesus. You know what? Anything that will not prosper the kingdom of darkness, devil always fight it. Oh yes, if you know that, if devil realize that your life will be, will be a loss, we create a lot of loss to his kingdom, he will want to fight it. You know, that's why God said he will uphold you. I want to mention, he will uphold your ministry, he will uphold your marriage, he will uphold your children, he will uphold your family with the right hand of his righteousness. So that no devil can pull you down. When God is upholding you, no devil can pull you down. And the manifestation of this reality begins in your life now, in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Can we tell it to God in 1 minute? That Lord, uphold me with the right hand of your righteousness. Uphold me, oh God, according to your word. Uphold me, uphold my life with the right hand of your righteousness. Uphold my family, uphold my ministry. I will not fall. I will not fail. I will not fail.
I will not fall.
You will not fail in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Almighty Father. In Jesus Christ's name we pray.
Amen.
Yeah, brother. Yeah, I want you to say one of the things before we make prophetic declarations.
So when, um, when we are talking about, um, righteousness, I just want us to be very— I want us to be very sensitive that there is no no neutrality when it comes to spiritual things. There's no middle ground, there's no gray area. And there's a doctrine that is filtering and circulating in the minds of people where they feel as if they can serve God and get by doing other things that are not godly. And it's very dangerous. And I just want to— I want to let as many people that will hear know there is no middle ground when it comes to spiritual matters. Is that the light or dark? Is that the good or evil? So as you are making decisions, if it looks like a gray area, then treat it as if the fear of God is upon you. If it looks like a middle ground, if it looks like there's two roads and you want to go through the middle one, it will lead you to the wilderness. So let's be very sensitive when people are introducing us to things that you know God will not be pleased with, and you think you can have one foot in and one foot out. That's awesome.
Yeah, thank you very much. Let me add to that. That's a very sensitive part of it. Now I want us to notice what God said. He said, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. That means God is saying he will uphold us with the right hand of his righteousness, not our righteousness. The Bible said our righteousness is like a filthy rag. So it is the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus that God is saying he will uphold us with. And for those of us that will come into that reality of that righteousness, we must come plain. There is no neutrality in nature. You cannot be one leg in, one leg out, as we see in this generation. So we have to be clear about it, which side you are. It is the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus we are talking about here. So it is very important, it's very fundamental. Whatever, what all, what we are discussing about here, we are talking about here, is for we the children of God. So if you are not yet in there, if you don't yet have a sincere relationship with Christ is important. We, we set to that. You said to that right here and now. God is said to do a new thing and he's already doing it. We want the manifestation of those new things to be effective and to be seen through and in our life. The book of Romans chapter 8, verse 19, the Bible says that the endless expectation of the creatures wait for the manifestation of the sons of God. So not for— not the manifestation of the sons of the world, but manifestation of the sons of God. So it's a new thing that God is doing, that he wants these children to manifest sonship. And that is why he's promising us that he will strengthen us, he will help us, and also uphold us with the right hand of his righteousness. May God help us in the name of Jesus.
Amen. Amen.
So, uh, before we go, can we pray for as many as possible that are trusting God, for as many as possible that are trusting God for a new thing? There are some people that are sick. The new thing that they are trusting God for is healing. Some people, they are discouraged, they are depressed. The new thing they are trusting God for is comfort, encouragement. So every new thing that we are trusting God for, as many people that are trusting God for a new thing or the other, we pray that God will meet them in the point, at the point of their needs, in the name of Jesus.
Father Lord, we pray for every single person, oh Lord, that is looking unto you for help. Every single person that is looking unto you for sustenance. Anybody that is stuck in the wilderness, they are praying, oh Lord, Lord, that manna will rain down and supply them their needs in this season.
I pray for everyone in the desert that has been thirsting, oh Lord, in this dry and barren land, oh Lord, that you supply them with those rivers of living water. Father Lord, we pray for those that are seeking, oh Lord, in their seeking shall they find, in their asking shall you answer, in their knocking shall the doors be open unto them.
We pray for every woman and child, we pray for every man, every person, oh Lord, under the sound of our voice that is in desperate need of seeing this new thing.
We know that you are doing it, we know that it is happening. The grace to perceive that very thing that you are doing, may it be released, oh Lord, by the highways, oh Lord, by the byways, by every street made available unto you, oh Lord. May they see the very thing that you are doing.
May they not be blind, may they not be deaf to the happenings of God. The doings of God shall be all that we are partakers of, in the name of Jesus. We shall be partakers of this new season. Do not pass us by. Do not pass them by, oh Lord. We will be active participants in this newness, oh Lord.
In Jesus Christ's name we pray.
Amen.
Now I stand on the finished work of Christ and I decree for as many that are trusting God for a new thing— maybe you are trusting God for healing, for a new level, for a new insight, for a new direction, you are trusting God for anything in life as regards life and destiny, I pray receive it now in the name of Jesus. Amen. Now in the name of Jesus. Amen. Are you trusting God for healing? Receive that healing now in the name of Jesus. Amen. Are you trusting God for promotion, for good connections? Receive it now in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Are you trusting God for any blessings in any area of your life? Receive it now in the name of Jesus. Amen. As many that are connected to this program, to this meeting right now, I pray whenever you are catching up with this, either now or later, maybe through, through any of the social media platform, I pray that you receive help, you receive strength, you obtain new things that you are trusting God for in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Thank you, Almighty Father.
Thank you, Jesus.
Blessed be thy name, oh God.
Hallelujah.
In Jesus' name. Amen. Wow. Uh, thank you very much.
We thank God. We thank God for your life. We thank God for your ministry. Thank you. There is a new thing being done, and we thank God for all the partakers. Um, we do not take it lightly. You spending this time with us, um, you gathering with us. The Bible says that we should not forsake the assembling of the brethren. So we thank each and every one of you. Our prayer does not end here. We will take, as the Spirit leads, um, all that God is revealing to us into our prayer closets, and we will intercede on behalf of each and every one of you. And Pastor Toby, we pray for you, we pray for your wife, we pray for your children, we pray for your ministry. Oh, the new thing that you have spoken of, you would testify of the name of Jesus. The strength, amen, the health, the being upheld by the righteous right hand of God. May you testify it in the name of Jesus. Lord, those former things that will not allow you to move forward, oh Lord, we pray that those things shall never be remembered in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord, that has released himself unto us. Father Lord, as we have received his ministry, may you receive his heart in the name of Jesus. We thank you.
Amen.
We pray this.
Thank you.
Thank each and every one of you. Um, God bless you. Uh, we will, we will be happily doing this again, um, so be on the lookout. Otherwise, uh, Pastor Toby, again, thank you so much, um, for your ministry.
