A dead car battery kept the speaker from catching a train, which he uses to explain how prayer, study, and fellowship die without the Holy Spirit's power. He asks God to recharge these parts of your life so you can move forward.

So I just missed my train. What happened was I was rushing out, came to go jump in this car, the door wouldn't open. Took out the manual key, tried to enter, car wouldn't start. Lo and behold, battery's dead. And I was going to be sad, but then I realized I could just work from home. And that's when the Holy Spirit began to minister to me. That's just like trying to start your day without praying. The very thing that you need to get to where you're going, the very thing that you need to get through life, the very thing you need to power the very thing that carries you from moment to moment to moment. It's not church. A lot of us are moving through life with dead spirits, dead prayer lives, dead, dead study lives. Yeah, it's not going to sustain you. So I want to pray for you. I pray that everything that needs to be recharged in your life will charge. I pray that your prayer life will not die, your study life will not die, your fellowship will not die. I pray that the power of God that moves us from place to place to place, that the Holy Spirit will be the very thing that we seek early in the morning, that we will not seek the things of this world, to get us through the world, because we are not of this world. I pray for you in Jesus' mighty name.
