A motivational speaker urges you to protect your time in 2026 by saying no to social invitations and constant availability. He frames it as an incubation period for personal projects or spiritual work that needs focus, with freedom to reengage more broadly by late 2026 or 2027.

You need to be comfortable not having to show up everywhere in 2026. You need to protect your time. You see, we live in a world where everybody feels like they are privileged to your time. They want you to answer the text message as soon as they send it. They want you to show up to every invitation. They want you to be everywhere except for where God wants you to be. There's a reason why in an incubation period you have to be at the right place at the right time, because if you appear too prematurely, if you appear too early, you just killing the thing that you're trying to give birth to. So in 2026, I truly believe that there is a time and a season where you need to withdraw and you need to be okay telling people, no, I can't make it. I'm giving birth to something. I can't make it. There is something that's developing inside of me. I can't make it. There's an incubation period that I want to properly steward. By December 31st, when I accomplish, when I'm there, maybe in 2027, I can have the luxury of showing up everywhere. But right now, I'm not even where I need to be. So in 2026, I need you to disappear. I don't want you showing up every day online. I don't want you showing up— and I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to birthday parties and family gatherings, but at some point you need to realize there are certain seasons in your life where you just can't show up everywhere and all the time. If you arrive too early, you will stay too late. And if you stay too late, you might miss the next place that God wants you to be. I want you to pray this prayer. I pray that I'm at the right place at the right time every single day in 2026. So shall it be. God bless you. Peace.
