In this sermon excerpt, the speaker confronts the common doubt of whether God ever abandons believers, rejecting the notion of a fluctuating divine presence. He emphasizes that Scripture explicitly promises that God will not forsake or abandon His people, and argues that personal feelings are unreliable indicators of God's presence. Instead, the speaker asserts that the primary proof of God's continual presence is the Word of God itself, citing biblical authority to reassure listeners that even when they do not feel God, He remains present.

Chapters

Is there a moment in your life where you don't feel God? And if you don't feel God, did God leave? Is God on this, this revolving door where he comes and goes and he comes and goes and he comes and goes? Sometimes God is with you and sometimes God is not with you. And I'm here to tell you that's not the case, right? He said that he won't leave you, he won't forsake you, he will not leave you as an orphan. You have to believe that even when moments where it doesn't feel true. The Bible says there's a way that seems right to a man but ends up in destruction. So feelings cannot be the number indicator that God is with us. The number one indicator that God is with us is his word. He said so. If he said so, then it must be so.
