Prayer is the spiritual life source. When Adam ate the forbidden fruit, God said he would die, which the speaker interprets as spiritual death from ceasing to pray. Human existence depends on staying connected to God through prayer.
What if I told you if you don't pray, you die? Kind of makes sense, right? Let me tell you why it makes sense. In the Genesis account, God told Adam, the day that you eat of this tree, you will what? The day that you eat of this tree, you will die. And I tried to make a case in my post that what happened right before they died, right, is they stopped praying. Amen. The life that we're living is spiritual, and the only way that you can have life is to be connected to some life source.
