In this brief devotional, the speaker explains the concept of exaltation as using one’s soul to joyfully lift up the name of Jesus. He cites the biblical principle that delighting in the Lord leads God to grant the desires of the heart, which in this context means giving Himself to the believer. The speaker describes a reinforcing cycle: delight in the Lord → God gives Himself → the believer wants Him more → God gives more → ultimate, total satisfaction with God, culminating in continual exaltation of His holy name.

Something else that you need to do is you need to exalt. Exaltation. Now you're wondering, what is exaltation? Exaltation is you using your soul to lift up the name of Jesus in an exuberant and happy and delightful way. The Bible says, delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart, meaning that if you delight in the Lord, he's going to satisfy that delight by giving you himself. And when he gives you himself, it's going to cause you to want him more. And as you want him more, he's going to give you more of him. And the cycle continues until you are totally satisfied with God, and all that you do now is you exalt his holy name.
