Hearing all the sermons that say the moment that you become a Christian, life's going to be good. You become a Christian, you going to get money, you going to get healing, you going to get power. And then you become a believer and you just like, I still feel hurt, I'm still suffering, life's still not good. And you know why I believe in my heart that God allowed all of this to happen? So that they can learn a lesson. What you are going through does not define the goodness of God.
