In this brief sermon, the speaker urges listeners to trust that God remains present even through hardship, warning against conflating worship with fleeting emotions and emphasizing that true worship is a matter of the spirit. The monologue includes a heartfelt prayer asking for deeper awareness of God's companionship in brokenness, pain, and suffering, and affirms a conviction that God, unlike humans, never lies or repents. The speaker concludes with repeated affirmations of confidence that God is with believers forever.

Chapters

Lo, I am with you even to the end of this age. Do you believe that? So don't lean on these emotions and these feelings and getting caught up in the act of worship and not knowing that worship is in spirit and not in emotion. So people of God, God is with you. And I just want to pray in one minute. Father Lord, give me this deep understanding that you are with me in my brokenness. You are with me in the hard times of life when I'm going through pain and suffering, when it doesn't feel like you are me. Father, I have this conviction. I know this to be true, that you are not a man that you should lie, nor the son of man that you should repent. If you said that you are with me, I believe you. Thank you, Lord, for helping us to believe that you are with us. We are confident. We are convicted. God is with us, and he will be with us forever. Amen. Amen. Amen.
