Moses was a poor speaker but succeeded because God assigned him work aligned with his purpose. True success comes from obedience to God's plan, not from worldly skill. God never gives instructions that lead to failure.

You will always fail doing what you were never designed to do. People can applaud you for it. People can call you great. But if it falls outside of God's plan and purpose for you, you're considered a failure. We cannot define success by the world's standard. You see, the world will determine your success by your skill. God will determine your success by your obedience. Let's use Moses as an example. God wanted Moses to be a communicator. Moses was terrible at speaking. So by the world's standard, Moses would have failed at that assignment. But the difference is God will never give you an instruction that will lead you to your failing. Your obedience is what makes you successful. Now Moses was able to lead 3 million people through the promised land, and we read about the life of Moses in the Hall of Faith. And he's doing the same for each and every one of us right now. God is not looking for your skill. He's looking for your obedience. He's looking for your heart. So I want you to pray this prayer: Father Lord, help me to look past my skill and towards your voice. I did a video about how you can discover your purpose. If you're interested in that, say amen in the chat and I'll send it to you. Peace.
