A Christian's freedom from sin should change how they treat others, not make them judges. The speaker warns against condemning people who haven't accepted Christ, since there's no shared standard to judge by. Instead, believers should model Christ-like behavior and let their lives speak.
Chapters
If you used to be a sinner but now you're free, that should influence how you treat sinners. I want us to be very careful about judgment. I tell people all the time, the moment that you become a Christian, you give people rights to judge you against the measure that is Christ. If somebody isn't listening to Christ, you don't have anything to judge them against. There's no measure. But we in the house, I can tell you Daddy told you not to do that. I could tell you that. If you've never heard the instructions of my Father, how can I hold you to that standard? We keep holding the world to standards the church are supposed to set and maintain. If we live it out, it would do the work for us. By our fruits, by our fruits.
