Every life is sustained by others' sacrifices, yet we often forget. Someone died for the heart beating in your chest. A Netflix show "Pulse" follows a lung transplant recipient who smoked after getting new lungs, disrespecting the gift until it killed him.
So constantly, as that heart is beating inside of you, you need to remember, man, someone died so that I can have this heart. Someone died so that you can have this life. You know, me and my wife was watching this show on Netflix called Pulse, and then this person received a lung transplant. You know what she did with that lung transplant? Started smoking cigarettes. You know what happened? She, she died. She got a perfectly good lung. Because she wasn't able to remember and honor the sacrifices that were made for her to have this life, she defiled her temple and died. Can we just pray in one minute? Father Lord, I will always remember the cross.
