If I was to give the number one reason why people don't pray, I would say it's pride. Fainting is a very terrible thing. In the Bible, and Jesus is speaking, saying that the opposite of fainting is prayer. So when it feels like it's hard for you to get back up, the only thing that can lift you from that situation is prayer. If you find yourself failing and falling and failing and falling, most times is because there's a lack of prayer in that faculty. If you see yourself struggling in an unusual way, men ought to always pray and not faint. Men fall when they stop relying on God to hold them up. If I was to give the number one reason why people don't pray, I would say it's pride. So you may be thinking that you're not a prideful person, but if you're not a prayerful person, then I'll be the first to announce you, you are very prideful. Something in you is telling you, you got it. They want to say that you strong, you independent, you got it all figured out. And the moment you begin to adopt that mentality over and over, everybody kept telling— they keep calling you Superwoman, Superwoman, you got it. And then it begins to trick you into thinking that you actually do. Meanwhile, your whole life is just faint after faint after faint.
