Praying only for answers and blessings leads to disappointment and spiritual hurt. The speaker argues that seeking God Himself, not His hand, is what matters. When people demand miracles without wanting a genuine relationship with God, they miss what He actually offers.
If you pray to get answer, you will get no answer. If the only time you come to God is because you want something, you're going to get nothing. You don't want him. That's why a lot of people are church hurt, because they come to God wanting things that God didn't want for them, and then they become angry at God. And God is just like, I just want you to want me. If you want me, I'll give you everything else. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and these things will be added unto him. Many people want the hand of God but not his face. And they get so mad, and then these people become so loud on social media, and we that been getting answers, we like, we don't know what you talking about.
