A creator's power comes from God's promise, not from leverage or influence. Most people work too hard because they lack clarity about what's promised, don't believe it, or don't understand how it works.
The promise is the power. I want to encourage us that as you're creating or designing or building, focus on the promise more than the power. And power could be leverage, power could be influence, power could be money. The promise is greater than all of that. The promise is the power. So if God tells you to make a video, to build an app, if God tells you to write a song, the power is in that promise, not your ability. Now, if God gave us a promise, then why are we still working hard? I've come up with 3 reasons why someone may be working hard even though God made them a promise. Number 1, one of the reasons why you're working hard is you don't know what you've been promised. Number 2, you don't believe in the promise. And then number 3, you don't know how the promise works. Now let me break down and unpack all of that for you.
