A devotional on hearing God's voice through intentional spiritual posture. The speaker uses Samuel's story from 1 Samuel as a model, recommending you enter a prayer closet, thank and worship God, then sit in silence to listen. Aligning your heart with the Shepherd's voice cuts through the noise.

If you can't hear God in this season, it's very dangerous, and I want to help you get over that. There are some ways that I have found in my journey that God speaks very clearly, and with all the voices that are going out in the world, in the media, on socials, it's important that we always make sure that we're following the voice of our Shepherd and Lord Jesus Christ. So the first thing that I do when I want to hear from the Lord is to posture my heart. This is from the book of 1 Samuel when God God is calling to Samuel in the house of Eli, and Eli tells him to do something. Whenever the Lord calls you, say, here I am, Lord, speak. So I try to posture my heart with a hearing ear, and I go into my prayer closet, and I thank him, and I worship him, and then I become silent. I want to hear what God is saying.
