A sermon on waiting for the right moment using biblical examples: Jesus telling Mary his time hasn't come at Cana, and Joseph's dream of his family bowing to him taking years to fulfill. The speaker argues that forcing your moment before God announces it leads nowhere.

You just have to wait your turn. Remember when Mary was at the wedding in Cana and the wine ran out and she asked Jesus if he could do something about it? And Jesus said, the time has not come for the Son of Man to be glorified. He had to wait his turn. That's pretty profound. If Jesus had to wait his turn, he mentioned that over and over again. The time has not come. The time has not come yet. For many of us, we always want it to be our time, and that's simply not how it's going to be. You think about Joseph. Joseph had his dream, and his dream showed his brothers bowing, his parents bowing, and he referenced that dream as if his time would be now. And lo and behold, that was not his time. He had to go through season after season of trial, season after season of refinement until that dream was made manifest. So what am I saying? I'm telling you to wait your turn, right? Don't be announced before God announces you. Just be patient. Your time will come.
