Morality must come from somewhere objective, not just culture or personal preference. For believers, that source is God as described in the Bible, who serves as the ultimate moral lawgiver and grounds all ethical values.
When you think about morality, it's a piece of the human experience that we have to learn how to ground, meaning everybody should be able to define where their morality comes from, right? As believers, our morality comes from the Judeo-Christian principles that we hold to believe. Our morality comes from an objective source, not necessarily just the Bible, but the author of the Bible in spirit, which is God. We call that objective morality, meaning that our morality can be traced back to a moral law giver.
