A pastor explains why confusion sets in: people overcomplicate Matthew 6:33's instruction to seek first the kingdom of God. He launched a community program called The Tent a year ago, which grew into The Tent Makers company through referrals and resources. The fix is simple: ask if each activity advances the kingdom, and clarity follows.

This is why you're confused. You are complicating what God is simplifying. You see, he gives us an amazing plan of action in Matthew chapter 6, verse 33, when scripture reads, seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you. Now, if you listen to that and your response is, is it really that simple? That's why you're confused, because the answer is yes. Let me give you a testimony. I started a program called The Tent a year ago, and it's just part of seeking the presence of God in community with other people, praying, worshiping, harmonizing with scripture. As I began to push that program, the Lord led me to start a company called The Tent Makers, and then clients started finding me out of nowhere. Referrals was increasing, and I started having the resources necessary to help alleviate the burden of putting on the tent. You see, if you just take a chance and seek the kingdom and ask yourself, in everything that I'm doing, is it bringing kingdom come? Because if it's bringing kingdom come, his will will be done. His will for you is clarity. So stop being confused. Seek the kingdom. Find your purpose. Peace.
