A sermon arguing that God has already given you permission for what you need, but obedience is what's missing. Using Noah's story, the speaker shows how one act of disobedience could have doomed humanity, and how your obedience now can save souls.
Chapters
You're waiting for permission that God has already given you. It's like you're waiting in line to purchase something that God has already given you. Does that make sense? What you need is obedience. You think that your disobedience only affects you, but then you read scriptures. The disobedience of man almost ended an entire species. Noah was given an instruction to build an ark to save humanity, but imagine if Noah told God, I'm too tired. I'm not smart enough. I don't have enough money. See, his disobedience at that point would have been the end of an entire species of people. Could God have raised another Noah? Quite possibly. God can do whatever he wants. But the point is, your obedience can lead to the salvation of somebody else. If we understood obedience as God's ability to save souls, I think we will find ourselves being more obedient. We think our obedience only affects us when our obedience affects a lot more than that. See, God has a plan to save humanity, and the way that he does that is he gives people instructions. So every little instruction that God has given you, do it scared, do it insecure, just do it. Peace.
