How To Manage Stress

In this short talk, the speaker shares a personal method for eradicating panic attacks and maintaining zero stress by classifying every concern into three distinct buckets. The first bucket contains items that are neither controllable nor influenceable; the speaker advises not to assign stress to these because they are beyond any personal power. The second bucket holds issues that can be influenced but not directly controlled; by taking modest actions—such as apologizing during a heated argument—one can shift the situation out of the influence zone, thereby removing stress. The third bucket comprises matters that are directly controllable; for these, the speaker argues that stressing is wasteful and the appropriate response is immediate action to resolve the problem. By consistently sorting concerns into these categories, stress cannot affect the individual beyond the initial classification.
