A speaker argues that greed can motivate voters in campaigns, but openly claiming a $500 million salary would backfire. The strategy is to feed the system greed to neutralize it as a driving force.

I want greed. And so anyway, that's how you get a better president. It's okay to motivate with a little bit of greed. Again, nobody's going to vote for a dude who says, I'm running for president. And when he's campaigning, he goes, I'm doing it for the $500 million a year. Nobody will vote for him. Yeah. So your solution is if you feed the greed, you eliminate the greed as a motivator. Money. Interesting.
