Christian Osgood caught people trying to break into his Washington State property using a pallet as a ladder. He calls most landlords parasites, but says he's different because he actually maintains his building and keeps out trespassers.

So someone tried to raid our unit. As you can see, they used a pallet. We stopped them, but they used a pallet as a ladder. But landlords are simply parasites. They don't offer anything. They just have other people pay them money and then they spend it on sports cars. I saw so online. The comments I get every day. This is what it looks like to actually be a landlord, to actually make a difference. We turned around this building. That's actually my property. That was an actual situation where we're literally out here fending off the the homeless trying to raid our buildings in Washington State. That's what it looks like to be a landlord. That's why you do in fact have to pay your rent. Otherwise, every building looks like that one.
