Robin Hood Village Resort- Paying It Off in Cash

Christian Osgood owns 500 rental units and owes roughly 4 years and 10 months on a large Robinhood loan. He plans to grow to 750-1,000 units, then sell down to 250 fully paid-off properties that generate cash flow while he coaches others, rejecting luxury purchases for practical assets.

Now, if you guys are like, well, why do you have 500 units? I bought a Robinhood. So the amount of money that I need to generate is higher until I have paid off the Robinhood. I also don't have partners on the Robinhood. My goal personally is to pay off the Robinhood in cash. I have like 4 years and 10 months left on my note. My goal is to pay off the Robinhood in full out of the cash flow of the portfolios. When I don't owe money on a Robinhood, we'll see if I buy any more properties because technically I should just keep paying them all down. And that's my, that's my game plan. So my plan is to exit at somewhere, a portfolio, I'll probably acquire up to about $750, maybe $1,000 to see what that tastes like. We'll see because I'm already more than halfway there, but somewhere around there I'll probably pretty much stop buying and I'll probably start selling down to pay off debts. It would be cool to end, in my opinion, if I had to pay off $250,000 in a portfolio, that'd be insane and way more cash flow than I can spend. I don't— I have no desire to have a big boat or any boat ever. My wife wants a little fast boat. I want no boat. I'm really pushing for no boat. I don't want to fly a plane, so I don't want to own my own plane. I already have a pretty big house and Toyota Tundra is still in my opinion, the best vehicle that has ever been made by man. So I don't need anything. I had 250 units. I would never spend that in a million years. I have some cool guitars, but I don't spend $1 million a year on guitars, so I can't imagine what I would use the money for. I think perfect universe for Christian Osgood, scale to 1,000 units, see what that feels like. Be cool to be able to coach from there and with a portfolio of like 250 paid-off units. But that would be perfect goal for me. So it depends on who you are. Long answer to a short question.
