Welcome to A New Life podcast with Pamela Jane. This is episode number one. With it being my first episode, I want to share a little bit about myself as well as my goals and mission for this podcast. First of all, I have been a business owner and entrepreneur for over 30 years. I'm a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Three titles that I hold with the very highest regard. I'm so proud to be the wife to Gavin, mother to my children, and grandmother to all of my grandchildren. Honestly, that is the icing on the cake, is becoming a grandparent. The mission of this podcast is truly to empower women, to empower other women. Ladies, we need to rally together and lift each other up, build one another up. And a big part of the mission of A New Life coaching that I do is to empower women to not only lift up each other, but also to live our very, very best. Throughout this podcast, we're going to be talking about mindset. Mindset and overcoming understanding relationships. The good, the bad, the ugly parts of relationships. We've all had them. Gosh, we've all had them, that's for sure. But we're going to take a deep dive into relationships. We're going to talk about hard topics like the abuse of narcissism. And when I say the abuse of narcissism, it doesn't mean that you are necessarily married to a narcissist. It doesn't mean that at all. Narcissism exists in every aspect of our lives. It could be a boss. It could be someone that you go to church with. It could be someone at your school. It could be someone who is a friend, can be a narcissist. We're going to have a very deep conversation about narcissism. Other things we're going to talk about is health and wellness. And because I have been a business owner for so many years, we will have to have some business conversations and some entrepreneurial conversations because I want this podcast to serve you. I want it to serve you in a way that helps you round out many areas of your life. The podcast is going to typically be about 20 to 30 minutes long. So a perfect amount of time when you're getting ready for work in the morning, when you're on your commute to your. To the office, you can pop on the podcast and keep it about 20 to 30 minutes. Long is my goal for sure. I will be having guest hosts with me, some guest special guests to come on and talk about some difficult topics. Things I have planned are I have a couple of people in mind that have had some incredible, incredible experiences with severe narcissistic abuse. We are going to interview a couple of women that can share some unbelievable insight not only to the abuse itself, but also to the survival and the healing of that abuse. I think that's so important to talk about the healing part because truth be told, we've all been in a situation that has scarred us deeply. Whether it be something that happened when you were a child growing up to something that happened to you last night. We've all been there. But we're going to talk about the steps of healing from certain levels of trauma and abuse. I want to get really talking about our health and taking good care of our bodies. I have a couple of health coaches that will be joining me and I'm excited to have them come on and share their insights on health and nutrition. I absolutely love working out. That's one of my favorite things I do every day or I should correct myself five days a week. It's a 5:15 in the morning routine for me where I attend a bootcamp class. And truly I love, love, love doing that. I know some of you are shaking your heads thinking that I'm crazy, but I do love to work out. I know it's a little bit odd, but I do. It's one thing that starts my day off just right. But we're going to take a dive into wellness health, overcoming circumstances and situations. And if there's anything that I can share with you and teach you, it would be this. You are not a victim of what has happened to you. I want to try to retrain your brain into thinking that I am not a victim of certain circumstances. There are certain things that happen to you, things that happen for you, and I want you to look at all things in your life that they are happening for you. Everything that you experience in an entire day has happened for you. And if you can make that switch in your brain to think about how did this happen for you and see how you can use your circumstance and use your experience for good, how you can use that thing that happened for you. Although it was very challenging and hard, but how can you use that circumstance to serve other people? So I'm excited to take a deep dive into Mindset and all of the other awesome things that we're going to talk about and discuss on a new Life Podcast. So, friends, thank you again for tuning in to episode number one. And I cannot wait to get started with this A New Life podcast. Have a great day, friends.
