Aegis is so broken that it's genuinely ruining high elo. Right now, Rank 1 is literally almost 4,000 LP, and it's thanks to the power of Aegis. Not only that, 100 out of the 300 Challenger players on the EU West server are literally all mid laners. There's no coincidence about that. ADC is just as bad. Right now, there are around 80 mid laners that are Challenger. Let's look at top lane for an example. We can see that there's literally 25, if that, top laners on the EU West. There's more than a 4x in the mid lane and 2 to 3x in the ADC. This is not okay. I really hope that Riot does something to address Aegis and address how much LP is being printed because of the new LP gains and how Aegis interacts with these solo laners.
