Gwen Jungle Only Has To Survive 10 Minutes

Hey guys, it's Perry. Today we're playing some Gwen in high elo right now. I want to show you guys how to play this champion, how powerful she can be when you play to survive in the early game and you get yourself scaled up. We have a Jax versus Draven. I, I don't know what's gonna happen up there. Hopefully it's not too bad. We're gonna go with Dusk and Dawn into a good old, uh, Shadowflame. So we're going to go for pure damage, hit the cone there early. I'm doing a Raptor start. Uh, Raptor start is always going to be the best on Gwen, I recommend. My bot lane somehow lost. Okay, let's ping their sums. Okay, they use barrier and heal, and my bot lane, uh, just— yeah, okay, I fucked that up. I think, I think I cut it a little too early. That's fine though. My Jax, or my, uh, Draven seems to be shitting on the Jax. That's very nice for us. Okay, let's recall here. We got the big camp at least. He got all the small ones, which is not good for us. But if we recall here, go to the bot side, we should be okay. We can even run straight to his, um, his Raptor respawn. And so let me danger ping top lane. He's level 2. He has his E. The Aurora just warded this, this camp right here, if you guys saw. And so we have an opportunity to still look for that camp. Alternatively, what we can do is potentially play for his Krugs here. And so we're going to avoid everything here and go for the Kruggies to get one camp back for ourselves while the Kha'Zix is probably on his other 2 bot camps. And so it's very unlikely that the Kha'Zix will know that I'm here.

I'll make sure my allies get what they deserve.

And then we can look for a potential bot gank here. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Oh my God. Okay, it's good for them still. I'm just a little bit too weak here. Let's go for the crab. I'll drop them ward in 3, 2, 1. Let's drop them ward and let's go back to our camps. So what a hard early game. Let's go to the top crab here. I assume Kha'Zix is gonna be in the bot side bot crab. So let's walk up here, investigate this crab. Well, it's fine. We see the Kha'Zix at least, which is good. Now we can grab our 2 topside camps, so we can go back and return to all of our camps on the bot side. And at the very least for me, I have camps that are respawned, which gives me a little bit of bonus EXP. That's pretty nice for me. My Draven is actually fucking their guy up. Let's use a smite here. Let's Danger Ping top lane a bit. Let's recall. Let's buy our Blasting Wand. Our Aphelios, or our Yudar is behind the Aphelios by a bit. Nice solo kill. One for one. I'll recall, and because we can buy a Blasting Wand, let's buy a Blasting Wand. We do want a Dark Seal, but we can't get it. It's okay. Bro has no flash. And so this Aphelios, and I believe Bard too, have no flash. That's good. Let's farm up everything. My bot lane's winning trades. This is good. Let's farm all of our camps here. We've gotten through the hardest part of the game so far. Which is the rough early game. Now we still see Kha'Zix in the top side, and so what this means for us is maybe we can try to invade his camps because his Raptors aren't up. We'll just farm this peacefully, and then my blind's freezing the wave. Okay. Let's sweep on through. Okay, we chunked that guy out. Let's recall and let's buy our item, Dark Seal. I want this Bokrab as a priority. Okay, we see that guy. And let's see where this guy walks from here. Does he go to my Raptor camp or does he go for Bokrab? He's going for Bokrab. Is he gonna have a leveled up Smite? No, he's not. He's gonna have a Smite. Okay, in reality here, can we actually play for the bot crab? Probably not. Fuck, this is dead as shit. Maybe the Kha'Zix goes for the bot lane dive or the dragon after. There's the dive, so we can try to invade his topside camps here. The only issue is we don't know where the enemy Jax is. Jax had no items, so likely Jax has to recall. Okay, if the Jax comes to check me here, just fuck. Just fuck.

We trade one kill there again. We have our beautiful Q and R3, which just did so much damage there. And so that made that play a lot better than, um, than it looked like it was gonna be. So from here, what we wanna do is probably clear bot to the top side so we can hit our little small camps. Small camps are just so powerful. And we also wanna play around our Draven.

Okay, keep farming up here. Our Cassio is Swifty Boots, not that strong. Not necessarily weak though. We also do want to play for the grubs. The grubs are a bit easier for us to play for. Again, we have all this control on the top side. It's not to say my bot lane's weak, like that weak. Barrier plus Flash. We see a Kha'Zix. Given how Gwen— or given how the Aurora is kind of fogging towards the bot side, It's kind of safe to assume that they're on the, um, dragon here.

I see their resolve.

No matter, mine is stronger.

Wow, I can't believe it doesn't get any hits there. Okay, so my— the Jax has already recalled, and so playing for the enemy Gromp is a little bit scary. What I'll do instead is I'll just go back to all my camps, keep farming down. Now we have a nice Clean sequence this game. Yo, first death with the gifted sub to give me. Don't mean you have ten gifted subs. My goat, my goat. Appreciate it, appreciate it. Let's kill this here. Let's keep the small guy again. The small guys first and then the big guy after. So the small guys respawn timer can be synchronized. You also have the buff for longer. Okay, let's recall here, buy Sheen, buy a dagger. And we'll save our Dusk and Dawn. Dusk and Dawn's a damn expensive item, 3,100.

The struggle is worth it.

Wanna play around my Draven very badly. I think the top lane is like, just gets worse and worse as the game progresses. If I, I'm thinking about it correctly, but maybe not. Okay, we want to go here. Okay, that's one kill for us. Go for this bot crab here. Need some support here.

We had Lulu escort us, so we're fine. We're safe with Spy Dusk and Dawn. And here's where things get problematic because we want, um, more damage. And so we want a large Rod very badly, but we are pretty strong now. And from this position on, my Draven has a full Dusk and Dawn or, uh, Bloodthirster. And so we can play around this guy. I feel very good. I feel very strong right now.

Let's play for all of this. Let's investigate some top camps. Let's see if there's anything up here. Nope. Let's recall, come down. We have a big fat juicy lead right now. This game is nice and easy. Again, play around this Draven and good things will happen. We go Shadowflame into Rabadon's. They're gonna—

What's so broken is this item gives you 2 passive stacks on Gwen. So you just stack your things so damn quickly. I think it's what makes this Dusk and Dawn item so ridiculously broken. So ridiculously good on Gwen specifically.

Oh my God, well, that's not good. Again, we want to play around our Draven, so I'm gonna come here. Beautiful. So I'm kind of sacrificing my top side here. To make this shit happen in the bot lane. But like, it's completely fine to do something like this because I want to play around my Draven, and we're going to generate more gold from this play here anyway because we have the grubs. And so it's pretty much like an okay trade because we break an entire turret.

Oh my God, that Aurora is fucking our shit up. Okay, now what boots do we want to go? Some defensive boots, maybe? We can also just go pure damage. I don't know if it's defensive or not. It doesn't always have to be aggressive.

There's nothing that they can do. If my Lulu just follows me around, they're going to get clapped.

Okay, beautiful. That was Aurora Flash. Can do my bot camps now. Can use our W to like heal some HP. All my teammates are in base right now, so this bot crab is a little bit rough. Unless this guy does that, it's not rough anymore. I'm just letting him know to be a little bit careful there. Well, I knew that guy was there somewhere. I just didn't know exactly where he was. I didn't smite fast enough. Okay, we have a huge item spike here. Large Rod. I think these boots are good. Gwen just does enough damage when you have all this AP. And so I'm not worried about Merc Treads or anything, or I'm not worried about Sorc Boots, I should say. I should clarify. Good angle from Cassio there.

I'm still bringing my top laner. We should play, play for this mid turret now. Bro, whatever this Kha'Zix is doing here is almost— is almost so clean. Whatever that guy was doing there was almost insanely clean. I don't know if you guys saw that shit, but that was almost insanely clean. Okay, we have another large rod for ourselves. Honestly, we should probably buy the large rod here. I don't mind buying Large Rod. And then going towards topside. This is, this is the super build. We're gonna be like not only unkillable, but like we're gonna have so much damage. Okay, do need to get information there. How big of a shutdown was that? Not the end of the world. We need our rabs. That Kha'Zix should have probably died there if I landed any more of my Qs or my ultis. That guy should have died. We'll just keep farming.

Yep, just don't overextend, don't overforce. I don't need to. I might have gotten myself killed there. Second Baron stolen from me today. Whatever, I wasn't worth that much gold, but fuck still. Okay, that was a worse flash.

Enemy is unstoppable.

Okay, my game to carry, so we need to play a little smarter. Normally we just finish things off with the Zhonya's. I can kill that Kha'Zix for sure. I can pop off. I can carry this game relatively easily. The hard issue is we have 2 marksmen, right? So 2 marksmen, or actually 4 ranged champions. I'm like the only frontline, but it's definitely like a winnable game. They have the Baron. They got the Baron too. It's okay, happens. My Draven went to turn. I should have turned. I'm not really— I'm not really playing around my teammates well enough.

I'm gonna go for the Baron. Your turret has been destroyed.

These turrets act strong. It'll be quite fun cutting them down. Isolde, wherever you are, I know you'll be all right.

Can smite that nice and easily. Beautiful, we found an angle on him. I wonder if this Aurora's gonna go for this top wave here. No, Aurora came mid to mid wave.

Okay, we got his ass. Bard and the other guy were the only ones alive, and they're both— and, uh, the rest of them are dead, so we can invade pretty much everything. We have our pretty much completed Zhonya's now. I don't mind waiting here one time, see if this Aurora walks up. After she uses all of her spells here. Okay, we can buy Zhonya's. Cassio's taking my camp because I took her wave, which is fair exchange. Full Zhonya's I can purchase if I really need to. I can like— if I use Zhonya's, die, or recall, I can Sell Zhonya's for Seekers if I really need to wait 2 minutes.

Okay. Okay. Okay. So we just— oh my God. This game is just blunder, blunder, blunder, blunder. They fuck up. We fuck up. They fuck up. We fuck up. I should have just gone and killed them with them. I am so disjointed this game, doing my— half-assing my own plays, half-assing my team plays. At this point in time in this elo, you kind of have to play with your team. I would say in general, you should play with your team as well. Like, I don't know why I'm doing so much shit by myself. It's a bit stupid of me. It's So I can just buy Void Staff. Void Staff will be nice. My Draven's not going to be up for a bit though, so they can just pull it. I can— I will make it in time. Oh my God. Who's its face? Is Thanos the, um, the fucking Aurora Thanos? Where did my HP bar go? Where, where did it all go?

It's like flanking Aphelios though. Stuck you nothing. Okay, I used my Ghost. That's the issue, to kill that Aurora. I don't like that. I had a feeling that was warded and I was trying to bait him, bait him there.

Gulp. Oh, they just fucked up though, bro. My Yone has 5 items. You guys can't disrespect my Yone like that. All right, Aurora, you better think twice. It might have— you might have been able to triple kill him once, but 2 times? 2 times? I don't think so.

The, like, walking with your W is such a good technique because you Even if the person in front of you can hit you, nobody else can. And so we got the Gwen win. That was huge. We needed that.
