The BEST JUNGLERS To CLIMB In Patch 26.17 TIER LIST

In this solo video, Perry Norman presents a comprehensive jungle tier list tailored for players ranging from Iron to Emerald, with a separate perspective for Diamond‑plus climbers. He explains his ranking methodology—considering win‑condition clarity, champion ease of play, and how quickly a player can become proficient. He highlights S‑tier champions Briar and Shyvana as "stat‑checkers" that can be picked up instantly for LP gains, discusses the impact of recent patch 26.17 changes (nerfs to Graves and Nocturne, buffs to Cho'Gath and Trundle) on tier placements, and debates whether Trundle may now belong in S‑tier. The video walks through each tier (S to F), noting why certain champions are unsuitable for low‑elo players due to complexity or linear win‑conditions. For Diamond‑plus players, Perry shifts focus to OTP (one‑trick‑pony) strength after 200+ games, emphasizing champion power, win‑condition straightforwardness, adaptability to high‑elo meta, and resilience to future nerfs. He concludes by promoting JungleKingdom.gg, a self‑built improvement platform offering early/mid/late‑game scoring, VOD reviews, and coaching, urging serious climbers to use it while reminding casual viewers to play for fun. The overall message is to prioritize meta‑strong, easy‑to‑play junglers to climb as fast as possible.

Hey guys, it's Perry here. Welcome to my patch 26.17 Iron to Emerald tier list. So guys, this is for Iron Emerald players. If you want to play a jungler and find the most success with like just pick up a jungler right now and you'll climb, I'm going to show you the tier list right here. Now we're going to walk through why I place these champions in every single rank. There's a few changes I'm going to be making here, but for the most part, this is probably what you're going to be looking at. Stay tuned to see the changes. And let's first talk about the rankings as the S, A, B, C, D, and E. So generally speaking, when I rank people on my tier list, and I'm thinking about like, where, where do I place X champion? Like, one of the first things I'm always thinking about is how easy and straightforward is the wincon? And let's go from D tier or F tier all the way up the ladder. When you look at champions like assassins, like true assassins, Rengar, Talon, Kha'Zix, and Zed. They're really good at one thing, which is finding picks against one person. If the enemy team is bundled and grouped up towards a 30-35 minute mark game, you're going to struggle to win a game like this. And chances are when you're in lower elo, Iron to Emerald, you're going to play a lot of 35-minute games. Assassins thrive in fast-paced, very fast-ending games, make them FF. And if you're lower or if you're newer to the game or if you're like kind of you don't have all the concepts mastered, you don't have all the fundamentals down, you might make a few mistakes. Mistakes here and there, and you're not very— like, it's not very forgiving to make mistakes on champions like this. Now, and if we look at Briar Shyvana, you can kind of drool on your keyboard. I quite literally mean drool. Tap 2 buttons, stat check them, and you'll win the fight. Shyvana gets way too much stats from her passive. Briar gets way too much healing and has way too much damage. They both do. And so it's really easy. Just go fight anyone. You can 1v1 them, you can 2v2 them, you can 1v2 them, you can 5v5, you can do anything. You can do it all. The wincon is really, really, really easy. And as we go down the list, you can see here that Wukong, like Mundo, some of these are like ult-reliant champions. It's like a true tank against, um, like AD champs. You have like team fighters, team fighters, stat checkers, you know, hyper farmer here. Uh, like her wincons like play for herself. Hyper farm, team fighter, kind of like this one's a little harder. Like this is the— like we're gonna talk about champions, we're gonna move around here. I might be moving Graves. He did get hit in the patch notes. Um, and then like Same thing with these guys, like ults to win type of champions. So the lower ranked tier list is going to be different from the higher ranked tier list. Just, just to be clear, there are 2. And so this is for my people who are Iron to Emerald. And that's the first mechanism that I'm going to rank these champions from S, A, B, C, D, and F. The second thing I'm going to add here is how easy the champion is to play. So like the wincon needs to be easy, but also the champion itself needs to be easy. I don't want you guys piloting Nidalee. I don't want you guys piloting even like Lee Sin, Kindred, Pantheon, Aatrox. All these champions here are not necessarily bad. They're just really difficult for your average player to pilot. And you go down to the C tier and all these champions hit the same issue. They're relatively difficult to pilot or their wincon is too linear or too difficult to pull off consistently. Okay, and I know some of you guys are wondering like where are some champions? I don't see Shaco here. I don't see Jax. I don't see some other crap. Yeah, so we're missing some champions. I'm working on adding all of them. There's a guide for every single one of these champions. That's why like there's a lot of upkeep and it's a lot of things to think about when developing and deciding these champions. So I'm working on a lot of different things, a lot of different projects with the Jungle Kingdom, and that's why like the tier list hasn't been like a number one priority here, but it's definitely on my mind. Okay, so the last thing we use is after easiness, straightforwardness, and wincon is like, how fast can I pick up the chat? So easiness and speed are sort of like the same, but they're also very different. So for example, Ivern, I would say is relatively like in between, like he's— you could pick him up, like, like Like, you can pick him up and play him and he's easy and his wincon's like, okay, but how fast can you actually learn the champion and be proficient? It takes time. The same thing with Viego. Like, Viego's mechanic and understanding and how you win, it might be easy on paper. Same thing with Yi, same thing with Zac, but you need a few hundred games on the champion. And so there's a lot of like, how much investment do you need on the champion to actually make that champion work and actually turn that into a champion you can climb with? And that's why we still have Briar and Shyvana at the top. Because they just reign supreme. You can play her tomorrow, either of them, and you'll fucking get some LP. So I want you guys to print LP with this tier list. The whole goal is how do you metagame? How do you become a like meta abuser and just play the best shit? And it's not entirely based off win rate either. It's based off of like other true factors because Zac might have a really high win rate, but the average person playing Zac that's making Zac win rate high is usually people who have a lot of proficiency on the champion like Zac. Or they come back to the game. They have like— they play a lot of Zac, or they play norms, like, or like the people who are winning on Zac are increasing the win rate and the people who are like first timing him are like lowering the win rate. There's a lot of that that goes on. Like win rate doesn't paint the full picture. Okay, so this is how we rank things in the tier list. I hope this is like clear and now you understand like why I'm putting a champ into the specific place they are in. Now let's talk about the changes that are going on in League of Legends. So patch notes. 26.17. So very briefly, we're just going to take a look. Graves got nerfed, Nocturne got nerfed, Nasus top lane got nerfed— wasn't a big thing— Cho'Gath, Trundle got buffed. So those are the 5 champions. I mean, Qiyana, we don't even look— we don't really look bad an eye towards Qiyana. But Graves, Nocturne, Cho'Gath, and Trundle are the champions that I really care about. Nocturne's nerf made him a little weaker in the early game. So his level 1 to 3, 4 are going to be a bit weaker. And I think that kind of gave Nocturne a competitive edge at all points into the game. And although he's still going to be a Great champion. I actually do believe that he is like— they've just nerfed this guy patch after patch after patch after patch. He is still very strong and still deserves a place, but he's not as strong as before. Graves also got hit with a pretty big early game nerf towards his Q. He loses some damage on his— on the AD ratio out of his Q. We're going to bring him down a tier as well. When it comes to Cho'Gath, funnily enough, I think he's actually deserving of a C tier. His E damage got increased, so he is like, funnily enough, Ranked up by a bit, you could go play some Cho'Gath. The wincon's pretty hard to pull off, but you can pull it off. Land your Qs, full combo someone, chomp them, you'll 1v9 the game. And last but not least, we have this Trundle change, which is going to be my biggest talking point to where like lowkey Trundle can be an S-tier champion. So what happened to Trundle? Because he's the one I want to talk about most. The Trundle's attack speed went from 30 to 90 to now 30 to 110. And if we go back to the history of Trundle and we look at 25 point 16, so end of last year, or like middle of last year. He originally had 30 to 110 and they dropped him to 30 to 90. And what people used to do is they put 3 points into their Q and they put points into the W afterwards. And what that allowed for Trundle to do is to maximize getting bonus AD from his Q and increasing this ratio, increasing this and gaining all of this damage, attack reduction, bonus attack, and then just how much damage it deals, but ultimately maximize the efficiency of the bonus attack speed and bonus movement speed, which was really powerful. So 3 points Q, 5 points W on Trundle is absolutely insane. And it makes this champion a bit ridiculous to where I think maybe even putting him in A tier is kind of too generous, like a little not— I don't know, this guy is going to be broken. I think it's like he can be in the S tier. Now I have to do some experimentation myself. I have to like show you guys like, is he really that S tier? a champion. I'm gonna play a game and I'll report back. Like, if Trundle really is an S-tier champion, you guys will hear it, you guys will know it, you guys should play it. Um, now if you were looking at the rest of the champions in the S-tier, Briar and Shyvana, like I've mentioned, stat checkers, very easy to play. Pick it up tomorrow, you get some LP. If you want LP tomorrow, play those champions. If your champions are in F, D, C-tier, I don't recommend you playing them whatsoever. And like If you are attached to them, you're attached to them. It is what it is. If you really want to play that champion, you really want to play that champion, just play it then. Screw it. Okay, play it. But if you want OP and you want to climb it fast, you want to show your friend like, yo, I was Bronze the other day and now I'm fucking Gold. Well, who cares if you're a Gold Briar player? You're Gold. And so whether or not you're Challenger on OTP or you're Challenger on Lee Sin, let's say you're Briar OTP and you're Challenger, you're still Challenger. The rank is the rank. It doesn't matter what you kind of did to get there. At the end of the day, you are what you you are. So it's not like you're a fake Gold player. It's not like you're a fake Emerald player just because you played a really strong champion to get there. Play the champion to get to that rank. There's no reason to not do that at all. Like, you should just play the best if you want to climb, play the best champions. But I think the A tier is self-explanatory. All these champions, there's a wincon, there's a way to win the game. A lot of them are ult reliant, way more reliant than the S tier champions. I mean, Shyvana, don't get me wrong, very, very ult reliant too. She has playability without her ultimate. I wouldn't recommend it, but she does. Briar is really the cheat code of it all because you just don't need your ult. You can just fight whenever. The rest of these champions, as you go down, they either get harder and harder to play, or at some point here, they just like— if we were to rank them, it would be ranked lower and lower and lower. If we give them a score, if we were to like— that could be a fun video. If we scored these champions like a 10 here, it's a 10 here, it's a 10 here. Okay, they're an S-tier champion. And then Wukong here is probably like a— A 5. It's like a 9 and then— hold on, if we were to do Wukong, this is fun. It's like a 9, it's like an 8, and it's like a 7. So it's like, okay, his total is still very high and that's what puts him up here. And honestly, that's probably a better way to rank the tier list. That's pretty fun in general. But nonetheless, guys, that's the general Iron to Emerald tier list. That's the big changes that we're making. Nothing too drastic has changed. Some of these champions, I think I'm a bit questionable on, like Volibear, like maybe he's like a B tier now, but I'm not going to like worry about it too much. What I really want to do, guys, is I want to talk about the Diamond+ tier list as well. So for my people who are really interested in climbing to Diamond+, let's talk about you guys for a second. These rules don't really apply to you anymore. So you play the game for a while, you're at a skill level where the game looks a little bit different. The way we rank you now that you are, um, Diamond Plus is very, very, very simple. Let me go ahead and clear all these. Number 1 is, uh, what— like, how powerful is the champion once we have 200+ games on it? Okay, you need to OTP a champion. So, so like, realistically, the way you look at Diamond Plus tier list is what— this is an OTP tier list. If you're an OTP on Amumu, In Diamond Plus, are you going to shit on everyone? Are you going to like 1v9 the game? Are you going to like consistently climb and destroy people? Probably not. And the same thing goes for the rest of these champions. Like, you're not going to completely dominate games. And it goes higher and higher and higher where like, whether you're an OTP on the champion or not, like, you're not going to absolutely 1v9 stomp every single one of these games. Now picture an OTP Talon. Okay, like he's just generating free LP. Like he's just spawning in LP. And all the other champions in the SAB tier, like, they just literally spawn in free LP. And I want you guys to really think about, like, wait, one-tricking. Like, you're playing 200+ games, you've invested on that champion, how strong they really are. The next thing here is it comes back to wincon. How straightforward is their wincon? Once you enter, um, uh, like, uncharted territory. Uncharted territory. That is nice about territory. But what I mean by this territory is if you go from Diamond to Masters, Diamond or Masters is like actually like a swampland where it's like you've been able to like swim across the sea and you've been able to on your journey, on your ranked journey, get from Iron all the way to Diamond. And then it's like, wait, the water is like all murky and muddy. And it's like, what the fuck is this? Like, that's Masters. And then once you get past Masters, you go down this like, like, like you're trying to go up this giant fucking waterfall and you have to, you have to be in your boat and climb up a big waterfall. So like we're down here in Iron and it's like, you know, like, like chill waves. Like we're going up and down, we're going up and down. And then it's fucking Masters where like this shit's just like, like ugly. It's just ugly. And then now we're trying to get to fucking— oh shit, it's blocked. Yeah, I'll do this. We're trying to get like we're trying to get to um um you know like diamond. This is like masters. It's like it's just like muddy waters, and it's just like it's just like all like yucky. It's like ew. And then it's like okay. So if we want to get to GM slash chow, now we have this where it's like and you're here, and you're like looking up, and you're like oh shit, I gotta make it up this. And so a lot of this territory is way way way more difficult. Than Iron Master territory. It is so foreign to people and it is so like unfathomable like what this looks like. And so how easy is that champion that you're playing that once you enter situations you've never experienced before, once you enter situations where it's like, wow, this Master player is like playing the weirdest shit I've ever seen. This guy's literally like the Mud Warrior who like has perfected Teemo fucking mid lane. And it's like, holy shit, this guy is just like roping me mid lane. Or there's this like gremlin who is like a mastermind at, I don't fucking know, like Zyra 11 CS per minute champion. And it's like every now and then you get thrown this really weird situation and it can be the enemy team, it could be your own team. And it's like, how prepared are you? Because that's what Masters and GM really is. It's just like, A whole weird puddle of shit and you have to get through it. And then after you get through it, it's like, holy shit, look at all the GM players, look at all the chow players. They're fucking doing crazy shit over here. I need to go to the angel land. And so how prepared are you to adapt to that sort of situation? Okay. And the last thing for preparation, choosing a champion when it comes to things, The last and final thing is if the champion were to get nerfed tomorrow, would it still be OP? And so you look at a champion like Graves, it got nerfed. He's still fine. He's still really strong. You look at a champion like Jarvan, he's going to keep— he has been getting nerfed. He's still fine. Viego, he's still fine. Like a lot of these champions, like you can nerf him once, twice, 3 times, and it's not going to be the end of the world. And so the lower you go, the worse things get where it's like, man, if you nerf Kayn, dude, it's going to be hard to win games. Can you? Can you make it work? Yeah, you can make it work on any champion, to be honest. It's just going to be harder and harder and harder. And so like, it's going to be harder on Amumu, but I swear you could probably do it. It's not going to be a fun challenge. No one's going to enjoy that, but you could probably do it. It's going to be really hard. So it just gets harder and harder and harder as it goes down. And a lot of these times, like the champion, you can nerf it once or twice or 3 times even, and they'll still be really powerful. probably even deserves to get knocked down some more because if you're weak the first few levels in high elo games, you're gonna get shit on as Nocturne. You're gonna get absolutely destroyed. Um, so some of these champions who are the C, D, and F tier, like, if you keep nerfing those champions, like, they just— they have no place in the jungle anymore, at least in Diamond+ games. This is my full-on tier list for the, um, Masters and— or not for the Masters, for the Um, uh, iron to emerald and also the— I didn't, I didn't click save, did I? No, I didn't click save. For the iron to emerald and the diamond plus tier list, uh, this is all the champions that I would recommend that you play, all the champions I recommend you don't play, and why I'm putting each, um, champion in their, in their, in their respective slot. And I want to be very clear with you guys on this one last thing. If you want to play to have fun and you want to just like play fun champions Don't let this video stop you. Play your fun shit. Again, I'm here for people who are serious, who want to climb, who want to get better, and who want to just play the good shit so they can rank up as fast as humanly possible. That's what this tier list is for. And so real quick, guys, if you are that person and you are serious about climbing, the site right here that I'm using that I've created with my brother, I've developed from the ground up, is junglekingdom.gg. We have a full-on improvement tracker with a score that scores your early game, mid game, late game. There's review points within the game separating from early, mid, late. And you can see here that this game, okay, I had 8 misses. What happened? A lot of deaths. I didn't get this dragon when we were up gold. Maybe I forgot about it. Maybe I did something sloppy. There is a full-on game area where you can play a bunch of different helpful games. They are helpful, not just for fun. There's a VOD review section with all of our VODs and much, much more. Finally being like the events tab where you can actually get coached by myself and my other coaches working with me. So Jungle Kingdom is the place we want you if you're really serious and you want to climb. Otherwise, guys, go check out the tier list. Every champion does have a build guide and we are expanding and working on those more. I'm working on that hard to figure out the best way to constantly keep it updated and also not burn out. Anyway, if you guys really enjoyed this video, definitely make sure to leave a like, comment, subscribe. I'll see you guys in the next one. More educational content coming soon. Peace, peace. Peace.
