Before you start or leave for work, set an intention for your day. It could be as simple as getting to and from work safely, having a successful meeting with your coworkers, or passing a test that you have scheduled. It really doesn't matter as long as you set the intention for the outcome you want. What this does is it sets you up in the right frame of mind and reduces your perceived stress about what you have planned for the day. I like to set a daily reminder at 7 o'clock in the morning. When prompted, I think about what my magnificent outcome is for my day. So start tomorrow with your magnificent outcome and see what effect it has on your stress relief efforts.
