Use your visualization skills and think back to when you were a kid. What did you do with your free time? Did you play outside? Did you read books? Did you watch movies? Did you draw or create art? Whatever it was, you did that because you like doing it and it brought you joy. Now ask yourself, when was the last time that you did one of those things you liked doing as a kid? If you're burning the candle at both ends, chances are it's been a long time. Or what about a hobby that you started as an adult, but then it got pushed aside when your free time became scarce? Whatever that hobby was, You were doing it because your inner child, the little kid inside all of us, wanted to do it. And now you might be feeling a little bit anxious because you're not being true to yourself. Consider scheduling just an hour a week to reconnect with that hobby. Not only will your inner child thank you, but you'll see your stress reduce as well.
