We all have dreams, and not just the ones that we have during our sleep. We imagine ourselves traveling, having a loving relationship, driving a cool car, having a great job, a home to call our own, financial freedom, and many, many more. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just a dream unless we turn them into into a goal. And goals are dreams with deadlines. The human mind, it won't move in the direction of a dream generally. What it will move is if it has something specific to aim at. So give your dream a deadline and you will see movement. The more movement you experience, the more success you will have. And as your dreams become reality, your stress becomes a thing of the past. You can start with a big dream with a deadline and then work backwards and think of the small steps that you need to take in order to get to your final destination. So think about buying a new car. Start with writing down the make, the model, and the color of the car that you want, along with the month and year that you want to buy it. Now, list out the key things you need to do in order to reach your goal. It could be saving a little extra money each month for the down payment, doing online research on the options available, and going for a test drive at one of your local dealers. Whatever those milestones are, put a deadline on each one of those steps to keep your momentum. You might even consider asking a friend to check in regularly on your progress to keep you moving forward and to keep you accountable. As you gain momentum, you will find that you're going to get that much closer to your end goal, like buying a car. And it'll become a reality while building your confidence and reducing your stress along the way.
