Peter Sorgenfrei explores how real change happens internally, not externally. He argues that confidence and certainty help you adapt to your evolving self, and that discomfort during change is actually a sign of progress, not failure.

Things around you change. Things within you change. And when that happens, it's always associated with a certain level of discomfort. But when things around you change, you kind of look out into the world and try to adapt and manage how to navigate the new environment. And when things inside of you change, you kind of have that struggle with How am I going to relate to this? How am I going to go out in the world now and be this new version of me? But in both cases, that change is progress. That change is good, even though it doesn't feel good. And having the confidence or the certainty that everything will be okay, it's the only way to attract— or adapt, rather— to change.
