Deep down, you know where you stand with people, right? We have this inkling that if somebody's not returning our phone calls or treating us with the care and respect that we deserve, we wish that they would change. We wish that things would change, and we try to make them change. But deep down, we know where we stand. We know what our opinions about them and our relationship is, and we probably also know how they feel about us through the actions that they're showing us or not showing us. A reminder this morning as the new year starts to think about the relationships in your life, professional and otherwise, and make a decision to follow what you know to be true, know where you stand, or to keep doing the same thing that you've been doing so far.
