I'm sometimes asked, what are the symptoms of stress? And they can be many things for many people, and I'm not a medical doctor, so if you are feeling under pressure, you should speak to a medical professional. But some of the things that I noticed was forgetfulness, right? I started not remembering things as well as I could. I started feeling a tingling in my extremities, so in my hands and in my feet and in my head, sort of like if I had sparkling water running through my veins. I had a shortness of breath when I normally wouldn't, maybe a tightness of the chest, all sorts of sort of small biological indicators that something wasn't quite right. But I didn't pay attention to it. I didn't, you know, stop what I was doing thinking, hey, why am I not feeling 100%? I just kept going. So the point of this video is, if you're in a situation where you're starting to not sleep as well, when you're perhaps feeling a little bit like your body is not the same way it used to be, if you're being short with other people, If you start forgetting things that you normally would remember, those could be indicators that things are going too fast and that you need to slow down, or that something is pressuring you and, and getting your system to kind of shut down in its own little way. So look around, see what you're working on, see who you're working with, see if you can find out what triggers this, and then ideally dial that down and do less of that so that you can start feeling better again. And again, I want to underline this is, this is a serious matter, right? So if, if you're having any of these symptoms, I would encourage you to speak to somebody about it, ideally your medical doctor in the first instance. Secondly, maybe somebody like me. I'm always happy and ready, willing, and able to, to talk to people like yourself. Or maybe a psychologist. Just find someone and explain to them what's going on in your life, how you're feeling, what's happening with your body, and then see if you can get some help before you might suffer from, from a more severe bout of stress or anxiety or whatever else is going on. I hope this was encouraging and not depressing. Again, if you see anything like this in your life, this is my suggestion that you do something about it.
