Start by listing tasks someone else could do, even if they'll do them 70-80% as well as you would. Most work is reversible, so the risk is low. Watch the results, adjust if needed, and you'll get comfortable letting go while staying in control.

One of the hardest things is to delegate without feeling that you're losing control. And I think one of the simplest things to do is to essentially look at all the stuff on your to-do list and say, who else in the organization or in my life could be doing this? And how would it feel if they did it, even if they did it at, let's say, 80% or 70% of how I would do it? And the reality is many of the things on your lists of to-dos could be done by somebody else. And the easiest way to get comfortable doing that is by doing it, trying it and seeing that things work out and they're going to be okay. Most things can be undone. So let somebody else do some of the things that you otherwise would be doing and see what happens when they deliver the results. And if you're happy, keep going. And if not, adjust.
