James Barrie said, life is a long lesson in humility. I was reminded of this quote yesterday as I was participating in a podcast where we got questions from people in job situations and they had a dilemma. And one of the questions was, I've switched to a new team, but the team, the new team is not as fun and as engaging and as exciting as my old team. What should I do? And it was clear that me with my gray beard and my older years had a different perspective than some of the other panelists in that I actually thought that it was a good lesson to kind of see what could you learn from being in the new team. What are these older colleagues, as it were, trying to teach you as you go through this experience? And so the quote today about life is a long lesson of humility reminds us that we should be a little bit more humble maybe with the things that we experience because that is life's way of teaching us new lessons.
