Looking back

Whenever I speak to very successful entrepreneurs or just business people in general, they all can kind of point to one or two big moments in their career where they made some sort of pivotal decision. That might be to go work for a company that was not very well known or smaller than where they were. It might be getting an international experience that seemed daunting but kind of changed the trajectory of their their career. So if you've experienced that, think about what happened in those moments. How do we think about getting younger professionals and entrepreneurs to make those decisions? It seems maybe people think that they're more adventurous than we might have been. I don't think that's entirely true. So if you know somebody who is earlier in their career than you are, maybe someday talk to them about how to think about and why to make these pivotal decisions to accelerate their career.
