Peter Sorgenfrei tells founders why chasing more money, customers, and growth destroys them. The trap is tying your identity to the company so completely that nothing ever feels like enough.

I think a lot of startup founders struggle with the feeling of never enough because the startup world worships more. More funding, more customers, bigger teams. There's always this announcement like, oh, they had a team of 200 people. Who cares? It's not about how many you are, how much money you raised. It's about whether or not you make an impact in your business. I also think that a lot of founders tie their identity to the startup success. And so it is never enough. They're never successful enough because So much of their identity is tied to this job that they do. So instead of worrying about whether it's enough, worry about whether it's good enough. Is your life good enough as it is? Do you really need more people, more money, more whatever? Or are you happy where you are doing what you're doing?
